Nadal is moving better than Djokovic. Normally Djokovic moves better than Nadal (on the hard courts), but it seems that Nadal is the clay slide maestro.

I do not blame the Swiss fellow, he does not really have the game to win the long rallies (assuming we are thinking about the same Swiss guy) so he has no choice. But Nole has been very patient through his successful matches against Rafa.

I think Djokovic has to vary the pace as the court conditions are to slow to disturb Nadal. Nadal moves much better on this surface than Djokovic.

Yep, we are. That's why I wasn't too upset that this Swiss player lost on Friday. I want to see a good final for once. The Swiss player, as good as he is, is not good enough on this surface against this Clay Court Leviathan.

Novak needs to grind.

Exactly. But he knows how to do it. When at his best, he grinds as well as Rafa.

Most people went fo a four set victory for Nadal. Can Djokovic hold on to his serve to reach a fourth set? It seems to me that Djokovic's famed flexibility is not as effective here because he can't link it with his clay slide - his clay slide lacks the control he has on the hard courts.

Novak has been awful for 2.5 sets yet he is still in it.

Djokovic's 1st serve is much better, if he continues that he stands a good chance of taking the 4th set but I'd love it if this went to 5 sets, I had a feeling it would, even predicted as such...but didn't think Nadal would take the first two sets. This certainly feels like a competitive RG final unlike the one ones with Fed!

Nole will win in 5 sets.

True. In all fairness, Rafa was not at his best either though.

That said, I still say that I have not seen anything from Rafa this season to convince me that he has found a solution to his Nole problem. He may win this one but it is all up to how Nole plays.
