uhum..waha...
So much grunting and groaning going on, but the sounds come across as natural unlike the ones women make. No faking there.

That said, I still say that I have not seen anything from Rafa this season to convince me that he has found a solution to his Nole problem. He may win this one but it is all up to how Nole plays.
Absolutely, this match once again shows how the match-up is on Novak's racket.

Yes, but Nole was still doing the right thing there too. In a long run, Rafa will not find the percentages he needs in these plays. The important thing is he is showing Rafa that he is willing to stay in the rallies now.emancipator wrote:Great change up from Rafa

What a fightback from Djokovic!!!
Has Nadal ever lost a clay court match 2 sets up to love?! It's remarkable!
Djokovic's 1st serve in the 3rd set was 75%, up from 50%, that explains the fightback we're seeing.

It's so wet out there one wonders how they can hold on to their rackets.

Whatever happens, Novak is a great champion. What a final he is playing, considering the fact that he was not playing well to start.

It's a difficult decision because Nadal was okay when he was two sets up and a break up in the third.

That break may just have saved Nadal. He'll want this to hold over to tomorrow, and bright skies.

Are my ears deceiving me, or did Rafa use the word "livid" in a sentence? If so, his English has really improved.
Speaking of livid, Uncle Toni got involved in a heated exchange with one of the tournament officials.

I think Djokovic has played with a better sporting spirit than Nadal. It seems to me that they will have to wait until tomorrow now where the forecast is also poor.

As a final this has been a load of Poopie!
It seems the Slams this year are going to be lost more than won.

Very interesting match so far.
Great to see Djokovic fight back. If this goes to five sets, it will be the second time Nadal will play five sets at RG (previous being Isner 2011).

Re: Day 15 - Men's Singles Final
I've actually enjoyed the fight back from Djokovic, if he manages to win after being two sets down to love and a break in the third then it shows what a champion he is.
What it does suggest is Novak needlessly lost those first two sets and perhaps nerves got the better of him when he started. However if he gets back into this...that would be something!

Funny how you had nothing to say when Djokovic was losing jersey but once he's doing well you make in appearance.
You first predict Djokovic will win in 4 sets and then say it's going to be in 5 when it's clearly obvious if he does win it can only be in 5.

Re: Day 15 - Men's Singles Final
Luscius: It seems to me that only Djokovic Mk I and Djokovic Mk1.5, have so far appeared in this tournament. However, after the severe stretching he received from Nadal in the first two and a bit sets, Djokovic Mk II has finally appeared. We shall have to await to see whether he reappears after the lengthy break (it may be tomorrow now).

Re: Day 15 - Men's Singles Final
Well I hope you guys are enjoying the match I know I am. Clicking on the DVR to go play a couple of sets and come back hopefully to watch a happy conclusion. In a way I feel good about this match either way. Novak is proving with this final he can hang with Nadal even at RG. Too bad his first serve would not drop in for him in the first two sets. Lets go 5 I am having too much fun.

ye bit too late though when you're 2 sets down. Do it from 0-0 or 0-1 then i'm impressed.Novak is proving with this final he can hang with Nadal even at RG.
