No Way Out - the worst PPV on paper ever? Empty No Way Out - the worst PPV on paper ever?

Post by Adam D Sun 10 Jun 2012, 2:43 pm

With the news that ADR might not be making it to No Way Out, leaving Sheamus with yet another opponent down, is this looking like one of the worst PPV cards of all time?

Orton - out
ADR - Out

Main event - Big Show vs John Cena over who is the biggest bully (or something like that).

Does anyone have any expectations for this event and more importantly, are you likely to pay £15 to watch it (a simple yes or no will suffice, not whether you are intending to break the law and download!).

Surely the WWE must have Lesnar coming back to intefere on the night, otherwise this is looking awful.

So what does everyone think?

I won't be buying no way out, as you've mentioned on paper the card is terrible, no big fueds to get the interest going and no one with any real draw.

Punk and Bryan in the same ring again will be the only saving grace for this ppv but I'm still not going to part with £15.00 to see it when these two have already been facing off on raw over past few weeks.

You said a simple yes or no answer would be fine Very Happy

No I wouldn't even pay £1 for this pile of crap they are offering up as a "ppv".

WWE are paying the price for having a luckluster main event roster and no depth to it, had they built mid carders up in storylines instead of flinging them in and out of them then wwe may have had a chance to quickly push someone in these times of need. Now they will push someone and it won't make sense and therefore it will be a pretty uninspired world title match at no way out.

Just have big show knockout Sheamus tomorrow night, win the belt and be done with it.

Its an awfull awfull card. I 100% wont be buying.

HHH is scheduled to be at No Way Out so i wouldnt be suprised to see Lesnar or Heyman show up and maybe set there match for Summer Slam.

This will be the first ppv this year i wont be staying up for.

Unless something happens in the mean time I'll be giving it a miss. And I very rarely miss a ppv. Can't wait for some new feuds and storylines to take over from the pants that's going on at the moment.

December to Dismember is the worst PPV ever, this one is going to have to go very badly to get near that

That had promise on paper though. Fair enough alot was filler but you had the Reuniting Hardy Boys for the first time in nearly 5 years, and the EC match, which are always a bit of a draw.

I agree that on paper this looks the be the worst. Maybe not ever but certainly of the last 10 years.

The December to Dismember PPV only promoted two matches, all the others were surprises on the night.

Capital Punishment was awfull. This looks just as bad. Funny enough its the same time as it was last year. Money in the bank was the next ppv after and that was amazing. Repeat happening again??

Judging by the promo shown on sky recently, its confirmed the obvious that the steel cage match will be the main event. I don't agree with it but I'm really looking forward to the WWE triple threat match. Kane has been superb recently since his wrestlemaina match with Orton. He has had some good matches with Bryan and Punk and I think his inclusion has just added something, even though I loved the Bryan and Punk singles match at Over the Limit (?). AJ is also going to be involved somehow. I she going to screw Punk and give Bryan the win in order to win him back, or screw Bryan over for humiliating her.

Hopefully a Ziggler/Swagger grudge match will be added to the bill after tonight's Raw. I would rather Ziggler break away from Vickie now with a win over Swagger, officially leaving the mid card scene and moving up towards the main event level. I think it has potential for a good match also, Swagger is pretty good in the ring and we all know Dolph's capabilities. I don't want Ziggler to be thrown a title match against Sheamus just because all of Sheamus' opponents are injured/suspended. It devalue a true title match for Ziggler, a bit like his WHC reign, which was a joke.

How is Henry coming along. Is there any chance of him returning or are we a good few months/weeks away. Otherwise if he could be brought back slightly early, it would give Sheamus a good win if he was to face Henry at NWO. Like someone else said, you could have Rhodes drop the IC title to Christian and have him as the surprise opponent for Sheamus. Give him a good showing to highlight that he isn't far form the main event scene. You never know, Del Rio could actually be there for the title match.
