Well, last night was a bit of a random one.

A great thread to start and finish the evening was enjoyable, but what was not enjoyable was what Arum has stated:

"It was a ridiculous decision. You guys all know who won this fight. So lets be honest about the situation. Hopefully we will revisit it in November......i hope boxing recovers, because this isnt arguing about a close decision. This is something that is an absurbity, that's ridiculous, and everybody thats involved in boxing should feel ashamed"


How can this old stupid Tinkywinky comment like this?

His thoughts on the Abril vs Rios fight were nothing like this AT ALL, yet it was probably even more one sided!


Also on the JMM vs Pacquiao 3 which 70% of the world kicked off at.


Soon as Pac Man faces such a thing, Arum is spouting this kind of crap.

Arum is one of the truly hated figures in boxing.

You would think at his age and the money and fights he's already put together he would spend his final few years making the biggest fights possible and not fuelled only by money and power. I was wrong!

He's a crafty snake who has thick skin to take any criticism and really doesn't care.

He's previously said he pays Mexicans less because he can but he's powerful people still go with him.

forgot that classic! It's a horrible thing to say but Arum's need to pass on before boxing contemplates getting better.

If you get the chance, just have a look at the guys face when he congratulates Bradley, he is full of joy. He is almost crying with happiness...

This is coming from a man who arranged their rematch on the 10th November to:

A. Prevent Floyd from fighting Manny on his release.
B. Tie up Manny's contract until the end of the year.
C. Make more money and promote it as some "revenge/retribution".
D. If Manny should retire, he has a new cash cow he can look to protect.

The man is a maggot and cancer to the sport. The bad thing is, his step-son is next in command of the faction when he's gone. I'm glad I don't pay for any Top Rank promotions... they disgust me.

He's a promoter with a huge asset. All promoters have done the same in some ways or another. Ergo promoters are usually scum bar none.
