Give Waldrom ball to run with and he will run all day. Give him tackles to make and tight in which to graft and he'll last about 50 mins.
I'm looking forward to watching this when I get in, how is the Allen experiement going?

Try Wade thanks to clever kick through from Care - who is looking proper lively today.

George Robson looks like Alex Sector from M.A.S.K.
If he wears headgear does he look like this?

Lowe and Goode are impressing me in the backs at the moment. Wade took his try superbly. Care looking like a little lightening bolt.
Want to see more from Fearns and Haskell. Fearns should be making some big carries.

good to hear that Care is playing well. Maybe Catt's been allowed a bit more input into the midweekers? And the opposition are a bit poorer.

I thought Lowe was on the bench? Or is he now on the wing or something?

Re: SA Barbs Vs England
Strettle pulled out last minute, and Lowe starting on wing now yappy. Scored his try from centre, so is roaming well

Re: SA Barbs Vs England
Cheers Bluestone, I know everyone's been on the JJ train currently but maybe a really good performance from Lowe could see him tried out on the bench if JJ starts? He covers centre/wing and is a lot more physical then JJ but a better(different) attacker the Tuilagi. And he leads the defence for Quins which is something Tuilagi/Farrel/JJ don't ever do.

Re: SA Barbs Vs England
Haskell sin bin, but don't know why it was a penalty. He was on his feet competing for the ball, and the ref pinged it. 3 in a row so yellow carded. Stupid decision, good groundwork. Kaplan's trigger happy.

Oops, YC for Haskell, not supporting his own weight in the steal

Gotta laugh at ~Haskell - 3 penalties in a row he conceded yet he still looks bemused to get a YC

He's supporting himself on his right hand, i think, altho many refs would let that gobluestonevedder wrote:Haskell sin bin, but don't know why it was a penalty. Scrum's match ticker has the Barbarians at two tries and three conversions but still on 7 points...

Re: SA Barbs Vs England
Definitely wouldn't mind Lowe in the test team to be honest. He's defensively solid, and has run some nice lines this game so far.
I think had Haskell not conceded the penalties earlier, he wouldn't have even been penalised for that ruck work. Looked really good to me, but oh well!!
Try for SA.

Re: SA Barbs Vs England
well he's offering himself, but doesn't gain much yardage. He's a bloomin unit, and is aggressive, so should be carrying more effectively. If he hit it with pace he would be a much better weapon. Very annoying because he's got so much ability!

Yeh it is. Their most experienced players are those that have bench-warmed for Super 15 teams. Saying that, they have one or two electric looking players.

Kaplan far too involved and whistle happy, which is a shame. But if England are any good they will learn and adapt...we will see.

Not really even currie cup players. These are currie cup 1st division teams that make up the barbarians. They used players from the vodacom cup.

So the S. Barbarians' 10 has had some SXV experience with the Stormers - he looks handy enough, lies nice & flat when he's got something in mind
