I here'd a version of it once with snare drums playing in the background, it was very uplifting.

Ireland's Call. It's a ........it's a.............. pub thing. Pub things are all very well in pubs when people are too drunk to care about embarrassment. But as a song thrown up to supposedly put hairs on the backs of necks up and to encite the players to contemplate acts of violence on the enemy (sportingly of course ) but as a song that is meant to do that - no, it doesn't do it and the players get nothing out of it.

I might start a petition here for something less grating but It would probably fall on deaf ears(oops).
