The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Sydney
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The Pub has made it's way to Sydney, as it prepares to host the final test match of the Australia v Wales series.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Kiwi, Linebreaker, Biltong and Asbo above the bar.

He isn't rusty. Only Peter Nelson and Paddy Jackson are.

I dream of an all ginger Ulster backline within five years. But I'll let Paddy W. off, for old times sake.

Morning pub for me please, very nearly overslept myself this morning.
I'm looking forward to it Lucky. I've never actually been to Llandudno before, though I've been very close to it. We tend to turn left at that junction on the A55 and head to Betwys-y-coed, been there a few times.

A lovely part of the world, Swanny. If you have the time, pop over to Penrhyn Bay to have a cuppa at my mum's. To make things more exciting, I won't give you her address so you'll have to knock on doors to find her. You'll have a whale of a time until the police get involved.

Happy Anniversary Swanny. Have a wonderful weekend.
But besides that... you're quite happy with the team I take it?
I think Knock's played very well this series... but I agree Kumquat would have been the better choice.

It's almost always windy in Llandudno, but it's a nice place. The Ormes are good for a little walk if that's your .

The second most widely spoken language in Ireland is not Irish, it’s Polish.

Strine is still No.1 - I speak with a south-western Pacific accent though. It's better on your ears.

Dr Gwyn Jones lost any remaining credibility in my eyes with his ridiculous 'Priestland was right' column in the Western Fail. The 'correct call on the percentages' apparently. You can tell he's not a Lawyer; res ipsa loqitor Gwyn.

Sorry, didn't read that article. They should have more lawyers running the show.
Really talking up KB on the Rugby Show right now. Lots of respect for Wales. Welsh lads shovelling it back now.
AAC just on... now Gareth Delve. Good bloke.

Chuffed to feicin nuts. This investigation began on 27th March 2011 so has been well over a years work. Jury were out for 32 minutes short of 2 days coming to a decision. (for those wondering the four offences were Cuddle in a bad way (of a 14 year old), 2 offences of sexual acitvity with a child (aged 14) and sexual assault (victim aged 15). To say I have a massive smile on my face today is a serious understatement!!!

Folks, I know a few of you have been wondering where Gibbo has got to. Just to let you know hes is in Dublin working with the rest of his family to get his mum out of hospital and into a nursing home.
She isn't that well but would benefit more from the care she would get in a nursing home as opposed to the hospital.
I believe there are things like value of property etc. to be considered and sorted.

Attaboy Ozzy/Pete. How's the wife's competition coming along? Voted for it on 3 different devices!
Also I'm sure a fair few of you heard that the missing Irish fan has been found but unfortunately he has died. No one should come home from a game or a tournament in a casket. Very sad.

Pearse Stadium? I suppose they have done a few stuff there. When Cork has it's 60,000 seater stadium built, they should play a few down here. We would be the only Irish stadium bar Croker able for Champions league finals!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Sydney
Is it an 'Ireland XV' purely because the IRFU signed up to have all home full internationals in the national stadium in Dublin?
Seems harsh on Fiji for this to be a non-cap game. Wales award caps against the Barbarians whereas we don't hand caps for a game against another test nation. I do suspect we'll put out an experimental XV as well though.

It won't be done for another 6 years minimum. Páirc Uí Chaoimh is being redveloped. As to why you haven't heard it. We're finally going to become our own sovereign state. So we don't want you "Irish People" to know about it. Or you don't read the news
http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/ireland/2012/0418/1224314876285.html
It will be used as a concert venue, if you shake enough money at the GAA it could be used for other things. If Munster get home HC semi, it would be an ideal spot.
