Not sure who Linebreaker is but there was WWE No Way Out and the Golf US Open both on in the early hours of this morning, that could have something to do with it.

Go Ahead Eagles v FC United of Bournemouth etc etc -
FCU have the stronger team, but I feel Eagles' tactics were superior. Hulk and Neymar were lined up in a better position if they were going to work as teammates, but Damiao was wasteful with chances and it cost them in the end as Go Ahead Eaaagles make the most of their opportunities.

Bournemouth have some clear weaknesses defensively, like Azevedo and Jefferson who are nowhere near up to standard, but they have a lot of quality going forward and would have dominated possession. The deep line was a good tactic for the Eagles who have a much more hardworking team and Walcott would have been a great outlet for them.

The long ball tactics worked a treat for Eagles it worked against the opposition and the two strikers gave many problems to the FC CB. FC did have chances of thier own and eventually got it. It was close between the two sides.

FC United are far far too attacking with 3 defenders and asking two of them to get forward. Open themselves up for a hiding.

I felt that FC United won the central midfield battle, whilst Go ahead wingers had a lot of joy on the flanks. Go ahead went with the ploy of getting wide and getting balls into the forwards, but both the FC United CBs are bigger, taller than the GO-Ahead attackers, so they had little joy there. The only success came on the occasions when the wingers came inside and scared the defence with their pace. It was the presence of Neymar that won the game ultimately, although once again playing alongside Hulk proved to be ineffective.

Feedback: This is a very entertaining game. Eagles get two classic counter attacking goals, both from crosses by Walcott and each striker gets one a piece in a dominating performance against the United CB's. However they come under huge pressure throughout the game from a samba front four that Heskey creams himself over, and they create enough chances to win this game just.

Reason: Good game for both sides , FCCB took an early lead with Neymar but the eagles made a tactical change by bring on schweinsteiger who evened the game. in the end hulk scored a great goal to snatch it.

Viva City Vs AC ALSOAM

Yakubu's pace would be a big problem for Juan and Van Buyten and I think Viva's side have the better players in central midfield, so I think they would win the battle there. Throughout their side the teams have similar quality.

A under strength team for AC, coupled with a superior midfield by Viva City, means that they get a comfortable win

Very evenly matched, with a midfield stalemate, the game was going to be won and lost on the flanks. McLean started well against Zanetti, but Zanetti’s experience quickly took McLean out of the game, and led to most the AC Alsoam coming down the right, where Radu had little support from Ben Arfa. Ben Arfa however, did get a lot of joy down the left, so ultimately the game was neither won nor lost on the flanks – a draw.

Feedback: In a bizarre mistake from Viva, he has given Lescott instructions while he is sitting on the bench! Verthonghen looks bamboozled as he heads to the field! Despite this it is a very tight game and I can't pick them apart. Montolivo hits a 30 yard wonder goal and Guidetti gets a 5 yard tap in.

Jacamos Utd v Real NADrid© -
Both sides with a very solid 4-5-1 formation, but I feel the stronger midfield of Jacamos controlled the game, and it gave them the edge. Nadrid strong upfront but let down by tactics.

Some very good tactics by Nadeem this week, but I think Jacamos just shaded it tactically.

Easy victory for Jacamos, Nadrid got what they put into the match very little so it's a fair result for Jacamos.

Although Nadrid lack any tactics I feel that Jacamos team would have beat they comfortably anyway

Feedback: Jacamos run riot in this game. There two wingers Srna and Munain just tear apart Ansaldi and Fabio, creating Lewandowski many chances. A distinct lack of instructions left the NADrid players looking like bambi on ice out there.

Reason: good game for Jacomos who controlled most of the game and found great balls towards Lwen who manged to score twice in a comfortable win.

AFC Swamp Donkeys v Treble's Revenge -
AFCSD persisting with the Benzema - Cavani front two, but I feel the tactics were more suited to those two than in previous weeks as they are able to assert themselves more. Trebles were very strong in midfield and with the CB's, a tight game that goes all the way to penalties.

Tactically Trebles were set up better then the opposition but the main striker was not sharp enough I would have prefered if Wellbeck was played main role. Swamp Donkeys have some good players but I feel they need to give better instructions to players.

Donkeys front two cause Trebles CB pairing all sorts of problems with their pace. Chances for both sides, but I feel Donkeys nick it.

Very difficult to separate the two teams. Treble’s were using their pace centrally, which was very effective as the pacier players for Swamp Donkeys were on the flanks. However, the Treble’s CM’s were bullied out of the game by Inler and Tymoshuk, and by playing two defensive minded CMs, they nullified the Treble’s tactic of trying to overload. Therefore, the Swamp donkeys enjoyed more possession, which took the impact of the sheer number of attacking players from Treble’s away and it came down to the two CBs of Treble’s v the two CFs of Swamp donkeys. Although, the two CBs of Treble’s are very strong, the two CFs of Swamp Donkeys are even better and one moment made the marginal difference.

Feedback: The Swamp Donkeys run out to a 2-0 lead in this game, however Treble's make some inspired changes causing a turnaround into a draw. Vermaelen is confused that he supposed to be helping Clichy when Coentrao is on the pitch, so when Hazard comes on he destroys them but only enough time to nick a draw.

Reason: both teams showed a very good attacking side. AFC took the lead through Benzema but later on as Hazard came on created a great magical chance which Wellbeck managed to score to tie the game near the end Benezema striked again to snatch it.

City of Norwich FC v Straight Edge United -
Very strong side for Straight Edge, and City of Norwich missed their creative spark in Nasri. Crofts wasn't up to the job, Johnson on the left was their good but forced outside too often by M. Pereira. However Drogba getting on the ball meant City of Norwich were able to force themselves into the game and they ground out the win after wasteful finishing from SEU and a couple of successful setpieces from CON.

Straight edge seem to have put a bit more in tactically, but even ignoring that their side is stronger than Norwich's. The only players which stand out are Merieles and Drogba, while Bull has gone for pretty much his strongest team.

Impressed with Straight Edge they have played well recently and it showed again today they had the stronger team and the players were instructed with more detail.

Improved team and tactics from SEU. The 5 man midfield cuts the service to Drogba and Borges, and are able to carve out a number of chances.
Despite Lampard being instructed to do certain things, even though he was injured in the stands, Straight Edge won this.

The one main positive from City of Norwich was Drogba giving Lugano and Godin a torrid time, with no doubt they will be nursing their bruises in the morning. However, they just didn’t get enough of the ball with Moutinho, Motta and Eriksen easily dominating the game against Meireles and Crofts. They had the extra class and were better instructed, which left Norwich chasing shadows for much of the game.

Feedback: Norwich edge this game for me, as the United defence struggle to handle a hot Drogba. Giggs is nullified by a sterling performance from The Norfolk Cafu, who in turn wins the game with a header from a corner with just 3 minutes remaining.

Borussia Munchingballsack v Cunning Canaries FC -
I don't know what interimming is, and I don't want to know Munchingballsack were very attacking and the wingers are not known for tracking back, so despite the instructions it wasn't a system that suited them. Although if Canaries had the likes of Oxlade-Chamberlain and Bale on the pitch they might have punished them. The weakened team doesn't make too much difference normally, but it was the difference in this case as they couldn't punish Munchingballsack and were ground down by the attacking threat from Sneijder, Kagawa, Di Maria and Navas.

Neither teams used full backs and this meant that the wingers had a lot of space throughout the game and created chances galore. I think the Borussia midfield possesses more quality there as I feel Olly should have made more specific plans to deal with the likes of Scholes and Sneijder.

I feel the Canaries were more compact in the appproach to the game and Borrusia asking too much of the wingers. Canaries got stronger as they game went on.

2 like for like formations, but I believe BM have the attacking threat and defensive set up to get the win here

First, a question. Which people have compared Holt and Wilbraham to Sutton and Shearer, Cole and Sheringham? Olly and ???
Cunning Cannaries looked seriously out of their depth today. Their CBs started well, but were just completely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work they had to do, due to the players in front of them. The midfielders of Borussia took Barry, Hoolahan and Powell to the cleaners, and Kagawa had a field day setting up all three of Llorente’s goals. When they did get the ball, Lennon enjoyed some success as he was up against a narrow FB, whilst Pilkington looked better than he is with no one opposing him. However, possession was too few and far between for this to make a difference in the end.

Reason: Vwery good game and both sides played well Llonrante played well and opened the game before Kagawa managed to make it a double but holt manged to pull one back but in the end it was to late both sides had a very good game and its sad to see 1 go home.

Real Ale Sociedad v Athletico Bilbao Baggins -
Very strong sides, I think Real Ale went a little experimental playing 4-3-3 but has the attacking players to make it work, while Bilbao Baggins were their usual 4-2-3-1. Real Ale's CB's were able to keep Cisse quiet, no wondergoals today from him, but a very open game narrowly goes to Bilbao Baggins through Risse being a little past it, Adriano being on his less favoured side and the Bilbao wingers taking advantage of that.

Bilbao have a bit of confusion who is playing at centre back, but I feel they have a slightly better team today and the midfield battle overall would be a scrap. But bringing on Hernandez late on adds pace and he nicked a late goal.

Probably the hardest game, Real Ale were very strong and matched the Bilbao side all the way I feel they were the better in midfield but it was the defence which cost them in the end. Bilbao I think need a plan B because the Cisse x2 won't always rescue them.

Both teams played very similar systems. They were both set-up very solidly in the middle and cancelled each other out, whilst both employing two wide men either side of the central striker. It was difficult to separate them that much, but Athletico looked more solid at the back and coped with Giroud better than Huth and Shawcross coped with Cisse, which proved the difference in the end.

Feedback: This is the tie of the round. Baggins take the lead on three seperate occasions, with Demba Cisse having Shawcross and Huth for pace, but Real Ale's attacking flair and never say die attitude brings them back into it three times, with each of there front three picking up a goal and Reus scoring the equalise in injury time to pick up a draw

Reason: Good game from both sides Real managed to find an opener before the end of the half , Cisse equalsed the game to make it even. Real had very good chances to take the game but in the end it was Toures day to spoil Reals game.

Sporting Sideburns FC v The London Silly Nannies -
Default 2-0 win for LSN, but Sodhat asked for feedback, so while it's hard when there's not anything to compare it to, I feel that side was very strong in midfield with exciting wingers and a solid centre forward, seemed set up for counter attacking football which I feel could work but if they were against a side with Xavi finding the likes of Nilmar and Podolski that it could have been a problem.

Sideburns just didn't turn up today as the silly nannies dominated possession. However after the first goal nobody could kick off for Sideburns as the Silly Nannies just hung around waiting for something to happen as the clock went down.

Feedback: Default win for The Nannies. The Nannies have a solid side out here. I would personally use the 4-2-3-1 formation instead of what can only be described as a 4-2-1-2-1 formation!

Right guys I am officially going to put Marek Hamsik as available for transfer. Make offers on my page and I will respond this afternoon after my exam, and will probably look to sell him tomorrow at some point

Viva - do you remember that bet you and I did back on Furious Viva, and I won De Rossi off of you.

Respect to you, you handed over De Rossi with no complaints

And I gave him back to you for free as players changing hands for anything other than a normal deal didn't seem in keeping with the spirit of the game.

Seems you didn't learn your lesson from that time though Laugh

I know, but the main thing for me was that it felt unsporting on all the other managers. Players should only swap clubs in proper deals, not in bets IMO. I can't recall the last time SAF snapped up a player for free because he had beaten Kevin Keegan in a bet.

Not for me Olly. A tainted player who I don't think you should have. It's like the Italian match fixing scandal

Any team that has Hamsik in it will receive a 10-0 loss from me as I will not be able to believe the match was won honestly

De Gea
Smalling---Evans---Vidic---Evra/Alba
Valencia--Modric--Felliani--Young
Rooney--Wellbeck

Lindergard
Rafael--Jones--Ferdinand--Fryers
Nani--Carrick--Cleverly--Park
Kagawa
Lewandowski

Obviously the team changing around depending on suspensions, injurys, fatigue and who ever we are playing.

Others

Scholes
Giggs
Hernandez
Anderson

Obviously that will never ever happen but I feel if that was our team next season we could win the league and do well in the CL.
