Possibly one of the most biased one sided refereeing performances I have ever seen. Absolute disgrace.

wouldn't go that far dr nick, but he's not been good. It's a shame as both sides have been looking to play some decent running rugby here.

Three certainties in life:
1) Death
2) Taxes
3) Wales cheapening the game by complaining about the referee.

Sick of it we have been done by the ref, i really don't get it how Wales apparently near form a ruck so aus can go for the ball and its okay to run past the ruck and take out Mike Phillips.

Davies targetted by Joubert this time, when they get away with it we try to play by his rules... and get pinged!

My final moan is that with that last 60 secs, how many times were Australia off their feet and sealing off. Many is the answer but we weren't allowed to win. well done Australia.

How many times did Aus seal off the rucks in the last phases of play! sick of it what can we do though?
If you make a valid complaint your told your a bitter sore loser, but when such obvious bias happens are professional sports men supposed to accept it?

Re: Australia v Wales 3rd Test: Teams and Build-Up
The problem is these narrow defeats will tell this young side they are playing the right way and we are literally a bounce of the ball from beating these teams...
WE ARE NOT!
I'd have much prefered a tonking trying to win outright!

Well, that's me done with rugby for the summer. Let's pray that I can forget the sheer amatureism of the IRB, the inconsistencies in the laws in their interpretations/application and the sheer season long incompetence of match officials and the farce that is the disciplinary system before the new season starts, or I don't think I'll be watching for much longer.

Re: Australia v Wales 3rd Test: Teams and Build-Up
Bounce of the ball for hook. Really can't catch a break. 3 poor first halves have cost Wales all 3 tests.
These last 2 have really ruined my Saturday's.

first match, i was annoyed but not to disheartened
second match, furious
this match, just given up
honestly whats the point in having a ref if he doesnt ref sides at the breakdown. pocock gets away with murder, aussie players so much illegal play at the breakdown.
refs not reffing the scrum, wales clearly dominant driving aussies back but no penalties?
just losing all faith in refs

Re: Australia v Wales 3rd Test: Teams and Build-Up
Wales just dont have the belief, mental strength or character to beat the SH sides.
Ive said it before, they have the players, they have the quality. But they just dont know how to win those games.
I think they could play Australia another 3 times and they would lose every game in the same sort of manner.
Being whitewashed is a major disappointment and failed test of character for this Welsh side.

15 against 16 tends toput a team at a disadvantage.

Re: Australia v Wales 3rd Test: Teams and Build-Up
Lets not blame the ref boys, we aren't just good enough to close out these games.
Lineout - Poor again in 1st half
Restarts - AWJ what was going on did some nick his hands
Discipline - I tell you what boys its not just hard enough to beat Australia lets make it harder by giving away silly penalties when we are in the ascendancy and when we score lets give them a chance IMMEDIATELY to re-take the lead.
Composure - Australia showed that at the end how to defend a 1pt lead. Don't kick the ball away stick up your jumper and run the clock down.
3-0 Well Done Australia
Wales 4th in World OK Fair enough happy with that overall but I have now had far too many years than I care to remember of 'glorious defeats' etc etc

Joubert wanted us to lose from the first minute and he achieved it. Nothing more to say on it really, apart from I hope one of big wigs in the union makes an official complaint. Shocking from someone rated as the worlds best.

FULL-TIME Australia 20-19 Wales
Australia showed composure in the last knockings, and Wales will no doubt be cursing referee Craig Joubert for many a long year. But for the second week in a row, they have contrived to lose a tourniquet-tight contest, and with it the series 3-0.
when that is said in post match analysis it says it all really....
