Re: JWC FINAL
I brilliantly accepted a couple of friends' invitation to a trip to Denmark a few months ago so miss out on the JWC final as well as all of Saturday's games.

But you get to go to Denmark mate...nice place. Copenhagen? Visit Christiania, seriously.

Re: JWC FINAL
Did anyone else get confused about how you get out of your group and who goes where in qualifying for the final stages?
I'll admit I had only time to have a fleeting interest in it - off and on, but I saw teams beating teams and then somehow missing out and then playing them again and....well the pattern looked peculiar.
Shut up, Fly and just pay more attention next time - it's all quite clear really.

No you were right the first time it's all very confusing and complicated, that is exacerbated by having only 3 pools and making teams play every 4 days.

Re: JWC FINAL
Top team from each pool goes through.
One extra team with best points and points difference also plays.
Things are seeded like they are in the HC so 1st plays 4th , 2nd plays 3rd which is how Wales winded up playing New Zealand.
Same applies for seeds all the way down to last place, so you have 3 'categories':
Top 4 (main competition SFs and F)
5th - 8th
9th - 12th
All of which play 'SFs' and Fs (even 11th v 12th) to decide ranking all the way 1 through 12, a bit like in 7s.
That's how it looked to me. I haven't checked this.

Galted it's like a neighbourhood 'commune' - very free spirited hippie community that is a good laugh to pop in and see. Wouldn't stay too long though unless you get staying power
There were others but Christiania is basically the only safe one to be in now where there's not such a war between authorities and anarchists

Re: JWC FINAL
Will heed your advice & stay off the booze, made the mistake of spending four days on the p1ss in Dublin last year without quite comprehending it was near enough £6 a pint. I think I had a good time but can't really remember.
