I think the 23m for Cabaye was a good deal for both sides...

And I agree Marky, I was a bit bored watching it

Yeah it was Trebs. I said it cos I think it's like the only time I've sold a player for a profit. And tbh I think Cabaye is vastly underrated on here, very very good player

If this league was guaranteed to run for a few years then £23M for Cabaye would be a bargain, but with this league as it is I feel as a one off deal it's too much.

1st season on FM12 drew to a close and I won the Champions League at the first time of asking with Dortmund!

In the group stage I came 2nd behind Arsenal but did manage to knock AC Milan out. Then I beat Ajax in the first knockout, Chelsea I thumped both home and away in the quarters, City drew with me at home in the first leg of the semi but I came back from 2-0 down at the Etihad to win 3-2 and get to the final where I beat Barca 3-2! It wasn't just a lucky win either, I had more possession and twice as many shots! For some bizarre reason though they left Messi out of the squad!
Great Britain have now signed me up as their manager for the Olympics and I'm hoping the Dortmund board actually give me a decent transfer kitty this summer.

Might do actually, towards the end of the season I had to rest him half the time to ensure he was fit for the CL games, played him twice in a week and he was knackered.

Manchester United and Manchester City look set to miss out on Athletic Bilbao's Javi Martinez, 23, who is close to joining Bayern Munich.

See Hero, told you you get into FM quite easily. I just finished the 2016/17 season with Norwich and finished 4th and won the League Cup.
Also am the England manager and for some reason we are in the Confederations Cup Headscratch . But we lost the final to Mexico 1-0 after beating Brazil in the semis 3-2 and beating Mexico in the group stage 3-1! Work that one out

I'm waiting to see if it follows the same as Chelsea in RL as I finished 4th in the league and therefore didn't get a CL place but I did win the CL, will be gutted if I don't get the chance to play for it again. Gotze and Kagawa have signed new contracts though for 4 more years each.

You do get in if you win the CL and finished outside the CL places. I finished 4th in the 2015/16 season, but the CL final was between Arsenal and Liverpool who finished 5th and 6th respectively. So I had no chance of getting in, and Arsenal won the final and got the CL place and I had to settle for Euro Cup football

I used to like Ice Ice Baby till Jedward sung it. They have ruined that song for me
