I'd be interested in Eto'o, although his TM value is higher than his real worth IMO I'd still make a worthwhile offer.

You'll get Osvaldo who isn't as good as Eto'o but is versatile, and scoring goals for Roma in Serie A. And a pretty good LB in De Ceglie, who isn't at Juventus for nothing.

I'd say quite a few people think Assou-Ekotto isn't up to scratch, maybe you should find out yourself as I am yet to play De Ceglie. My personal opinion is De Ceglie is better.

I actually class him more important to me then Baines because he can play on either FB positions. He is the only player I have kept from season 1 because of this. It means I don't have to have two FB subs.

Plus.....Forrest Gump is injured this week so will need him

How about.......

Cahill + Sterling + Arteta = Allen + Gerrard + Shawcross

Allen and Gerrard are making a great midfield combination at Liverpool. Cahill isn't getting game time, but I need more strength in defense.

I think as a deal, it is very well balanced.

But the whole point was to get Sterling?! Why have you offered me Carrick when a) I sold him and b) he isn't part of any deal.

Way I see it, you want Allen and I want Sterling. Allen has more value than Sterling. Fact.

Allen = Sterling + 5m

or

Allen + Gerrard + 4m = Arteta + Sterling

I am not losing out on someone who could be dropped for Downing as soon as he loses form. Having no TM value is really important as I can't get a lawyers for him.

Allen > Sterling

Frankly, even though he has been off the pace, Gerrard is still a key member for Liverpool and will come good in the end.....he always does. It is your decision though.

I can't get rid of a winger, simply because I am in need of one myself. Hence why I want Sterling. You have a lot of players that can play on the wings.

If you would rather keep Sterling, would you do Arteta for Allen? Like for like then. It seems a shame that you don't want Gerrard when they have and do work together well.

But if you won't accept Sterling + Arteta = Gerrard + Allen + cash, I am prepared to do Allen = Arteta.

Depends how much you want Allen

Can I ask why you are in a hurry to shift them? There good back up, and you could easily get a lawyers. I mean use them in deals by all means, but whats the hurry in getting rid?

Do the deal now and you could easily do (for example) Strootman + cash = Better player. I am giving you the extra cash so its easier to shift them, as you wanted.

As long as you know what your first team is, options is always good, especially in the centre of the field.

Gerrard = CM but also looking to be a AM
Allen = Playmaker
Stootman = Box to Box
Carrick = Deep lying playmaker or CDM

To be honest I think having those options is a good thing. Just because TM classes them all as CM, doesn't mean they are in RL
