The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Béal Feirste
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The Pub has made it's way to Belfast - the rope-making and ship building capital of the world.
Now the Mouth of the Shoal awaits the safe arrival of one of it's long lost daughter's - Cariadwr - in her ongoing quest to be as close as possible to one of her favourite players... Tomás Ó Buaigh of Emyvale.... on her Birthday
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Nial O'Connor, Cari & Tommy Bowe, "Pickles" the wonder dog of '66, Wikus van de Merwe and Black Caviar above the bar.

Im in Dublin Rory. Not always near a PC. Nice break away from them tbh.
I think the NZ result affected some Irish rugby fans reason to live. I dont actually want to talk about it either.
Roll on the start of the PRO12, Jeff, TOP14 and Heino.

Still in Dublin, yeah mate. Have met up with some old and new friends. Its been great - in between daily hospital visits. Back to NL on Thursday.
I see Van Marwijk got the shove/left the Nederland job. He wanted to ban half the team for being disruptive. Just like the old days. Looks like Rudi is in prime postion. We need a return to sexshy fudball and players who work for the team and not their own egos. It was a shambles.

If kiwi is about, I reckon we have The Wheatsheaf primed for the early morning Championship games.

Love ya bud, if you need anything just shout.
The dutch were very disappointing to be honest. How players with so much ability can fail to deliver so spectacularly is beyond me. Some seriously sexshy footie from the Spaniards last night though.

Anyone seen the pic of Rob McCusker from the WRU's link about him being the new Scarlets captain?
He quite literally looks exactly like my brother. It's actually rather alarming - I had to do a double take!

Quiet in here, mind you it is 12.30 am on a school night.

The worst thing about this miserable weather is that there's nothing any of us can do about it. The sun's still there, beating down, it's just that these damn clouds are in the way.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Béal Feirste
Morning folks, so after 12 years of work Ive finally had to take a sick day. Gutted.com
We got a load of new pots in the house last week and I was making dinner last night. Decided to make pasta bake, so I threw the pasta on the boil and went back to the tennis. Checked it after ten minutes, THAT'S A BINGO pasta cooked. Now I find out that the new pots have a massive design fault in that handle heats up to about a million degrees. Which o only found out when I grabbed it. Hand under the tap for am hour didn't do anything so off to hospital I went. Hand all.bandaged up and a dose of painkillers for Hugh. Hand is in bits.
Hence the first ever sick day

Jeysus Hughie, that’s a pretty fundamental design flaw. “this pot must be able to withstand temperatures of up to 300 degrees Celsius without deforming… anything else?” “well we could make it so that people can touch the pot while it’s cooking?” “get out”.
Fair play if it’s your first ever sick day, I’ve taken a few in my time, none this year so far, nearly called in this morning. Really wrecked and run down…

Sorry to hear that, Hugh - don't try to rush things with the healing process, my friend. Can you take the pans back? Whether yes or no, I'd get rid of them PDQ - it's only going to happen again. Take care

That's shocking, Hughie. I'd say you could make a claim against the manufacturer.

Sick days are nothing to feel bad about Hughie especially when they are genuine unlike some of the ones most of us have taken in the past

Pete if the end of Season 2 is anything like the end of Book 2 its mind blowing!
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Béal Feirste
Hughie,
I would be tempted to write a letter of compaint to the pot manufacturer.
Product is clearly not fit for safe use.

Hugh - glad you went to the hospital in the end to get it sorted. I shall for now refrain from making remarks about you being bested by a sospan.... hope your hand gets better soon.
A Game of Thrones, I was really enjoying season 2 until I moved home. Don't have sky here and haven't managed to find the time to catch up with the episodes online, haven't watched it now since episode 6. Absolutely love it though!

Hi Pete, no haven’t watched the end of it yet. had plans to do it yesterday but I bought a new hard drive last week and had to transfer all my media (500gb) to it, it took about 6 hours and took both hard drives out of action. I’ll watch them tonight if I’m not still wrecked, I don’t want to be falling asleep and miss them, and I’m still kate bushed after the weekend, officially into 3 day hangover territory at this stage.

If the Irish trade acts are anything like the british ones, you could make a claim as it's not fit for it's purpose or because it is not merchantable quality. More so the former.

Only applies to the retailer not the manufacturer.
