Breaking Bad Empty Breaking Bad

Post by SharkSoul Tue 26 Jun 2012, 6:32 pm

Just wanted to recommend this to everyone on the forum just incase no one has previously.

Quick synopsis as follows - Protagonist 'Walt', a high school chemistry teacher is diagnosed with in-operable lung cancer and only given a short period to live. He has a wife who is expected their second child and a son already who suffers from cerebal palsy. He decides to concoct crystal meth with the aid of a former student in order to build up finances to take care of his family after he has gone'.

I haven't found a tv show as gripping as this in long a time. I'm half way through season 3 (of 4 with season 5 starting in 2 weeks). I've put season 4 of 'The Wire' on hold that is how good it is. I don't want to hype it up too much but just wanted to bring it to everyones attention.

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Had the first 3 seasons on file and then my hard drive broke, seems as if it was going to be good it's certainly going strong in the states at the moment, i'll need to get a hold of it again, only seen the first couple.

Aye GG,

Make sure you do dude because you won't regret it. Bryan Cranston 'Walt' is fascnating in it. Murphys Law is an understatement.

I've seen the all of them so far and am really looking forward to season 5, a truley magnficent show, well up there with Six Feet Under and The Soprano's in terms of unblemished quality (though House will always hold a special place in my heart it dosn't come close to the quality of this show), brilliantly written and acted (Aaron Paul steals the show for me), so excited for season 5

I started watching this a couple of weeks ago and have to say its fantastic, very much enjoying it, though I still think of him as Malcolm's dad.

Give it time hero, I used to think that as well even by the end of season 3 I was thinking 'isn't it funny to see Hal being badass' but as time goes ny he manages to shed that image completely

Also anyone else up to date with season 5? Id say its the best yet
