Lol ok, Ledesma rings a bell. But the rest I think are ok OK

Gastón Ramírez signs for Real Ale. Got in quick as he is due for talks with Liverpool in the next few days.

Good signing Twist.

Bit small so got to see how he manages the physical side of the Premier League, but is an excellent player. Considered him for AM when I was managing Jacamos.

Well he is winger, so TM got that wrong I think. I can play him on the left and hazard on the right now. I think my team was a little lopsided with Podolski on the left. I much rather play him as a SS

Afro you went to see Ajax play last season, I might go Amsterdam when the Football season starts and want to watch them play. You know how much the tickets are? How does it work can I just pick tickets up from the stadium?

Just signed Isla. Have been thinking about it for a couple of days, as I only had £12.5 million to spend, but Afro just bought him up again, so I just took the plunge and signed him. Can also play him RB if needs must.

Does mean I have no money now Sad

Ramirez tends to play behind the striker too, but has played on the left, and definately favours moving out to the left hand side. In fact, I would say Ramirez is more of a SS than Podolski. Podolski played most of last season as a lone striker

Viva - I saw Ajax at Real Madrid, not in Amsterdam, so I don't know sorry. The only game I have seen in Holland is a second division game between Haarlem and Cambuur when I was 16 and we were on a football tour

Much more of a RB than anything else to be honest Olly. I was considering him to be able to sell Clyne and then also use him to cover RM and CM.

He also plays LB, so TM is pretty off with his positions

Crying or Very sad I don't think he'll come back to play Football again which is a real shame we really miss him thats why I wanted Felliani. I hope he can contol the illness and live his life.

I have signed Gary Medel as I couldn't see him anywhere in the league.

I was a bit surprised with all the love for Vidal that noone had taken Medel at such a cheap price as well, so let me know if he is already in the league.

Very true, but I can see him playing either behind Giroud or to the left of him next season. I am sure Arsene is going for 4-3-3 next season. Song, Arteta, M'Vila. Then Podolski, Giroud and someone on the right. Walcott if he doesn't go

I agree that I think he will be on the left of a front three, with Walcott or Chamberlain on the right. Similar to where he plays for Germany I would have thought.

Not sure about that formation working for Giroud though. He thrived with an AM right behind him at Montpellier.

I also don't think M'vila will go to Arsenal. I expect them to sign Capoue who will be similar, but cheaper

Delighted with the signing of Steven Naismith to Everton. Not sure whether he will cut it the Premier League, but it does mean that Anichebe is no longer our back-up striker.

I signed Naismith for United on fifa at one point when he had a very high rating, think it was 85 Laugh

And, when you look at the deals I did over the past couple of days with Gregers and Twist, I've lost Hazard, Ben Arfa, Cabaye and signed Dzogaev and Marchisio, getting a 16.5m budget boost too. Think I've done relatively well there.

Jelavic has said he is the best strike partner he has ever had, so even if the only benefit from him is that it makes Jelavic 10% better then we'll take him, especially on a free.

But Hazard >>> £16.5m when it comes to value (which is all you can compare to cash). Cabaye = Marchisio (very different types of player).

I don't think the gap between Ben Arfa and Dzagoev is much. Certainly not as big as the one between Hazard and £16.5m

I got rid of Marchisio because he did not have the best of Euros, and I think Arteta and Cabaye will work better in a midfield together.

Frankly, I think I got the best deal when I did that Hazard transfer with Trebs

Him and Cabaye are very different players. In fairness to Mouse, he has Carrick who is similar to Cabaye, like when you had Vidal and Marchisio together who are also similar. Really you need a bit of both.

Well, the 4m is irrelevant.

I still believe overall I got a very good deal. As soon as I sign Hazard, he's over-rated and going to flop in the premier league, but as soon as I sell him, he's an amazing winger.

Yeah I agree there trebs.....swings and roundabouts. And the 4m is not really irrelevant to me when I used it for TP's.

Hazard is still a big risk for whoever has him. I still think he'll end up a bench player for Chelsea next season

But you are comparing him to £16.5m. In terms of market value for a lawyer, he is >>> £16.5m

Thats the league for you, I've done it to others and I'm sure you've done it yourself.

Fact with Hazard is that he is not yet a £30m+ player.

He has the potential and to be, but as yet he has only performed as a big fish in a small pond.

For every success to come from the French leagues (cabaye etc), there's been highly rated players who have not performed in the Premier League. Gervinho was rated higher than Hazard in the season before he left Lille

Ok then Afro, cards on the table. Would you rather have Hazard and take a chance, or have an established RW in the PL at the moment? Like a Lennon or a Walcott

Valencia?

What I've noticed with players outside of England is some people will only see them at International or CL matches and if they've played well they'll be rating them highly until the next time they see them play which could be 6 months. Wheras in the Prem players will be rated not rated every game match because people see them more often.

It can work for or against you when buying a talented player from abroad because people don't know much about him they'll stick to what they seen until they see him again even though the player could be play below average.

I remember when Rooney was going through a poor spell and someone in one of my leagues tried to sell him for cut price. If that was Villa who was playing poor or Eto'o they wouldn't dream of selling him because they don't see him day to day unless Villa was injured long term like he is now which has made people think twice before they buy him.

That's true Viva, I remember selling Rooney for 20m + Agbonlahor, using the money to get Eto'o. Agbonlahor was having a massive breakthrough and looking amazing at the time.

If I had Hazard, I would have wanted him to stay in France. His stock is high and if he carried on playing in France, it would continue to be high. Now he is coming to England, it raises the risk of him not making it.

In terms of Hazard v Lennon or Walcott, I would still go for Hazard. He is far enough ahead of those two that even with the risk, he is still rated higher. Even if he completely flopped it will probably take at least a season on here before his rating was down with Lennon and Walcott

Valencia v Hazard would be close for me, and if my signing either was on the TM.com value, I would go for Valencia as he is cheaper.
