I thought you had to give decent reasons to get the bonus.
The runners should be stopping managers from adding the bonus if they don't vote properly

Yeah, I always give reasons for league matches. Just Cherries that fails to

I doubt Cherry will be doing the cup next season. Even if it was well run, it is time to mix it up a bit. Give other people a chance to come up with some ideas.
As a competition it isn't really "dynamic".

How about for the cup we do two legged matches? So tactics for the first match would have to be in for Tuesday night, votes for Wednesday. Then results ASAP. Tactics for Thursday/friday and votes for friday/saturday. Thought?

No thats too much, cup should be quick and short we don't want it to drag on and get in the way of the league.
Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XX
Or scrap the cup and call it the pre-season cup or something?

If nobody is really fussed about the cup it would be easier to just scrap it and just have the league

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XX
One idea I had, which could be trialled for the cup, is to give managers a "second chance" on tactics, so after both managers have submitted initial tactics, both managers can submit a further instruction, say 2/3 lines long based on what the opposition are doing
It kind of mirrors real lfe, where the manager will make tactical changes on the touchline based on what is happening in the game.
You wouldn't be able to change your team selection, just tactics.
It could be main tactics by Tuesday midnight, additional tactics by Wednesday midnight.

I'd argue that regardless of what Cherries does, you only get your voting bonus by voting properly with an explanation for each match you vote on.
As for the cup, i've suggested for ages I should replace Cherries, so Olly, back of the line yeah?

I used to be as high as 11th on the all time list, but my little sabbatical has seen me plummet way off the pace.
