Spinner shafts.
First topic message reminder :
Following a petulant round I'm in the process of re-shafting a set of irons. However I have noticed a "spinner" shaft available from a couple of manufacturers to increase spin on wedges.
Does anyone have experience of such a shaft in their wedges, and does it make any difference?

True, there's not much to do in Aberdeen, hopefully I'll not have to stay long.

Yeah. Golf isn't a great watch most of the time either. As you say, too much putting and no clue what's going on with any other shots. I don't watch that much - just Masters and Open really. Even if I had Sky I don't think I'd watch more. Just because golf isn't great on the box doesn't improve F1 as a watch though.
Sport I think is great to play but fairly pants on the box is squash.

I went to watch the Moto GP at Silverstone a few weeks ago, not really a petrolhead but I took my Dad who loves his bikes. Far more enjoyable than watching F1 live for me, lots of overtaking and you get more of a sense of speed.

Diggers
I would quite like to go to a moto GP event at some point, even though I am only a casual fan.
I love F1 live, if you pick the right corner the speeds and grip are mind blowing.
I managed to get a spot on eau rouge last year. That was cool.

I like the pro tracer they are using now in golf. Like Diggers I dont see the point in showing us a white ball against the back drop of sky. At least with the pro tracer we can see the path of the ball and appreciate the shot making skills of the pros.

I have been to monaco but sadly not during a GP weekend. It would be an incredible experience to see cars running around monaco close up.
I am hoping the new New York Gp will provide the perfect mix of holiday and GP watching. My GF loves New york so i would be pretty sure I could persuade her to go while I go watch the F1.
