Foreign Transfers

First topic message reminder :

Bid for your foreign transfers here. To start the season, there will be two bids allowed per day, this will then decrease to one per day when the season starts. The Special Juan will then answer all of the bids received in the evening. They do not carry over, so you cannot bid nothing all week and then bid five times on the Friday.

The first bidder gets the first chance to sign the player, and if this offer is accepted then they will sign for the original club, regardless of the subsequent offers. But, if the original bidder has not bid enough or the transfer is unrealistic then subsequent bids will then be considered. Any following bids must be at least of equal value to the first bidder.

Chris Burke was signed by Birmingham on a free transfer, so we feel they would take the £2 million on offer due to there financial troubles and the fact Burke is a replaceable name. Burke would like to come to Norwich, for the chance to play Premier League football. We have his former manager in our staff and a former teammate to help him bed in, and we feel he would give our wingers a different dimension.

Southampton recently had a bid of £6 million turned down for this young prodigy, but we are going to swoop in and test Birmingham's resolve. Jack would be perfect for us, as he could pose a real challenge to John Ruddy for our No1 keeper's shirt. He would like to come to Norwich due to the recent/imminent signing of the Birmingham GK coach Dave Watson, so he could progress with what he knows best, in a higher league.

He wanted a move outside of Europe and he's more likely to be started at Fulham than Chelsea. He'd be behind Luiz, Ivanovic, Terry and Cahill! Also Chelsea are trying to reduce their age squad not increase it.

Diarra has long been linked with a move to Spurs and with Madrid informing him that he is surplus to requirements he is available at a cut price deal.
This would be funded by selling Tiote.

I said Butland would challenge. He may not be first choice every week.

If he wanted to challenge he'd go Spurs and push Friedel. Guaranteed starting spot would be his only reason to go to Norwich.
