Foreign Transfers
First topic message reminder :
Bid for your foreign transfers here. To start the season, there will be two bids allowed per day, this will then decrease to one per day when the season starts. The Special Juan will then answer all of the bids received in the evening. They do not carry over, so you cannot bid nothing all week and then bid five times on the Friday.
The first bidder gets the first chance to sign the player, and if this offer is accepted then they will sign for the original club, regardless of the subsequent offers. But, if the original bidder has not bid enough or the transfer is unrealistic then subsequent bids will then be considered. Any following bids must be at least of equal value to the first bidder.
Please make sure all transfers are confirmed on the foreign transfer confirmation page.

Fredy Montero
Seattle Sounders
£2 mil
A part of Seatlle's Designated Player Rules, Fredy would be confident of a move as part of his wages pay for his salary cap currently over there. Now after a couple of seasons in the MLS now would be the perfect chance to have a crack at playing in one of the best leagues in the world!

Kolo Toure signed
Sebastien Corchia
Sochaux to Liverpool
£3m
Moved to Sochaux for around €2m, so we're doubling the fee the paid. His side finished low in the French league and he can play for a much better side.

Olof Mellberg
Free Agent To Aston Vila
1.5 Million, (Half is Value)
Now a free agent leaving Greece after player 3 seasons over there. Has been linked with a couple of teams back in England inlcuding a hero's return to Aston Villa. Showing he's still got it scoring goals from Euro 2012 he will link up with fellow swedish defender Olsson.

Oscar Cardozo
Benfica to Everton
£4 million upfront, £12 million due by end of season = £16 million
As we're traditionally a cash strapped club we can offer Benfica the money that they require but on an installments basis. We are heavily linked with him in real life and would love to link him up with Jelavic for us as we push for Europe.

Santi Cazorla
Malaga to Tottenham
Bid: 15m
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2175933/Tottenham-interested-Santi-Cazorla.html
(to show Spurs have been interested in RL)
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2180366/Arsenal-capture-15m-Santi-Cazorla.html
(to show that the price offered is justified)
Reason: The player is looking to leave Malaga in RL due to unpaid wages and is looking for a top club, currently we are that top club sitting proud at the summit of the league and whilst at the top we intend to stay there by purchasing the best.

Steven Fletcher
£7 million
Wolves to Norwich
We here at Norwich feel we need another top quality striker to finish off our squad. And Steven is a top quality striker, proven at Premier League level. Currently in the Championship, we here at Norwich think he would jump at the chance to sign for a Premier League side like us. And the £7 million is a nice sum for Wolves to have, to help them rebuild a squad for the Championship campaign

Re: Foreign Transfers
Luuk De Jong
FC Twente
£10M
De Jong was at Twente when this league started, and was actively pursued by Newcastle in real life. Indeed it was said the only reason a deal wasn't agreed wa because Newcastle lacked the 'desire' to meet Twente's figure. However, here we are meeting the figure that Gladbach eventually paid for him. Considering his obvious interest in joining us for a prolonged period of time, the regular football we can offer (either out wide on the left or alongside Cisse) there is no reason he wouldn't join us for the real life fee.

Since leaving Bolton Nigel has been without a club, at Everton we can offer him a chance to re-prove himself in a top league.

Cardozo - No
£16m now. No staggered payments.
Cazorla - More money
I know £15m is a rumoured fee but I've heard more rumours of £20m than £15m so make it £20m and you can have him.
Fletcher - More money
I think Sunderland are paying about £12m for him IRL so.....

Just signed a new deal.

Re: Foreign Transfers
Agreed mate, but I think with the creativity Gladbach have they should be able to put the chances in for him
I mean, Xhaka, Herrmann & Arango are good enough to make the opportunities
It's rolling the dice, but considering the players available to me; I'd rather do that than splash 18M on Remy or play it safe with a 'solid ST' - may as well have just kept Ba if I was to do that
Anyway, Gladbach are my favourite German team - part of the reason I signed him

Maynor Figueroa
Free Agent (Wigan Athletic) to Stoke City
£2.4M
Maynor is currently out of contract at Wigan, with http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/wigan_athletic/8488078.stm this link stating his contract expired in the summer of 2012. No new deal has been agreed yet due to Maynor's participation in the Olympic games and we would like to swoop in with a move for the Honduran left back. The fee offered is half his TM value of £4.8M.

Re: Foreign Transfers
Klaas Jan Huntelaar
Schalke
£16m
Huntelaar has shown he's back on form in a league similar to the Premier League for its physical nature and it has emerged that he has a release fee in his contract of 20m Euros which currently is worth £15.6m. We are willing to trigger that clause and enter talks with one of the most clinical strikers in Europe.

Reo-Coker - More money
£2.2m is half his TM fee.
Figueroa - Yes (Provided he's not already in the league)
Ribery - No
Old article. He extended his contract to 2015.
Huntelaar - No
He might have a buyout clause but hasn't really expressed any desire to leave Germany, plus he wants to win stuff (He wants to be a "Champion") and Spurs haven't won anything yet.

Surely a side at the top of their league is a more attractive option than trying to break the dominance of Dortmund and Munich? He's clearly shown in his career he's a journeyman too having played at 6 different clubs and he's still not signed a new contract with only a year remaining.

Sorry Nando! I knew I'd missed something.
Cazorla - Yes
Hero you've played 1 game or something. If you actually win the league come back and try. He's happy and scoring goals at Schalke, a team built around him, so I don't think he has any reason to leave at the moment.

Any football agent would be advising their player to move if a team met a players buyout clause especially with one year remaining on his contract, Spurs in RL are a bigger club than Schalke, compared to most transfers this surely defines the term 'realistic'?

Ettiene Capoue
10M
Sochaux
With the team after him IRL having signed M'Vila we would like to step in an offer this Frenchman first team football in the Premier League. A much bigger club than Sochaux we give Capoue the stage on which to prove himself. Paying the figure quoted IRL we see no reason he wouldn't join.
If this can count as today's bid, that would be great if not tommorrow is fine.
