I'm not the only one finding it distasteful then! Good call.

I wonder how much tax pays to the Greek economy - although I think he is a cypriot which is separate to Greece.

Baghdatis looks to be very reserved in his visible emotions and body language - I suppose he realises that he is in Murray "home court"

Have the crowd been told yet about the end of play at 11.pm - they won't be pleased.
Seems farcical to me on health and safety grounds. It will be dark at 10.30 as it will still be at 11pm. And as for the crowd being able to get home, twaddle.

You might realise like in boxing, golf or any other sport, who ever hits hardest does not win.

It's doing then on unforced errors that is unpleasant.HM Murdoch wrote:Andy, if I wanted to see first pumps and "come on"s on every single point, including unforced errors, I'd watch the WTA. Please stop.

My point is that bitching about how hard players hit the ball doesn't mean they win the match.
Not rocket science,

Looking at team Murray - all his team jump around like teenage girls, except Lendl who just looks a little relieved.

Hated that celebration to be honest...but then I'm no Murray fan. Did well to break Baggy there though.

Not really.
I find it odd that fair weather tennis fans come on and actually try to sound like they know about the sport when they don't have the good graces to admit actually they don't watch it all year round like most of the posters here do.

Spectators NS.
Something to do with transport.
I like how Tim has deflected all the animosity should this match roll on to Monday onto Andrew Jarrett.

Re: Wimbledon Day 6
If they do go beyond 11 pm do you think PC plod will step on court to arrest them for infringement of the Health and Safety.
Ha ha John McEnroe reckons the health and safety of the match referee might be endangered if he stops the match at 11.00 pm.
