Wait till Novak's BH is nolonger a top 10 BH on tour. You'll then find people saying it was overrated. That always seems to be the way.

In JJB today I saw a Prince racquet with a 110in racquet head! Surely that should be illegal!!

that's nothing ... check these:-

apparently it would be legal to have a square racquet 11.5 * 15.5 = 178 sq inches

Wow, Gary Richardson whatever his name is asks Ferrer who he thinks will win in Murray/Baghdatis match, what a pointless thing to ask when Ferrer plays DP next round. :S

Roddick had to change his strokes to handle the slower environment and bigger balls that enabled the likes of Djokovic to win Slams.

Let's change everything again and see how many of the new lot handle it.

Nice to see Baghdatis come out with a smile on his face. I like to see players enjoy and relish the atmosphere that is Centre Court.

Look I have never been a fan of Roddick's. I am not kicking him on the way down, Johnny Mac made a stunning comment and I reposted it. I have always believed his forehand was way overrated and it is. And this nonsense about slowing conditions hurting his forehand is ridiculous as usual the guy won his only Grandslam after they slowed the USO courts. They slowed the courts in 2002. He played almost his entire career on slowed conditions. Better players who hit that shot better came onto tour and similar to Ferrero's forehand it once was one of the biggest on tour, then a couple of years later the same shot was nowhere near the top 10.

In short as nice as we all want to be to old man Roddick he was a vastly raw and deficient player who managed a good run in the early 2000s during the weaker and transitional era. A serve and nothing else could buy you a slam in 2003, thank god that doesn't happen anymore is all I have to say.

Both players not really being expansive in their shot making. Baghdatis I feel maybe should play some chip and charge on the Murray second serve. He has looked good at the net.

Baghdatis seems abit like Nalby...versatile, talented, shoemaker, carrying a few pounds too many...and underachieving for their ability. I mean, since that 06 AO final he's hardly done anything in the game. You wonder how seriously he takes it when he's always carrying a few pounds....

Piece of trivia:
Another thing in common with Nalby back in January...have to laugh at this.

http://www.theage.com.au/sport/tennis/racquet-rage-fury-out-in-the-open-20120119-1q75b.html

Baghdatis funnily enough is not sponsored by a racquet manufacturer...rumours were that he broke the racquets to get back at Tecnifibre who dropped him at end of 2011. He uses racquets that aren't made anymore anyway (Fischer), just painted to look like Technifibres.

Wait till Novak's BH is nolonger a top 10 BH on tour. You'll then find people saying it was overrated. That always seems to be the way.

You either listened the commentry half, or u understood just half or you left out half comfortably to suit your argument.

Johnny Mac said

"His forehand used to be deadly back those prime years, but ever since his return from injury his forehand lost the venom and right now there can be atleast 50 guys better than the current forehand he has, so Johnny Mac did praise Roddick's forehand and he says his age and injury has caught up with him and thats the reason he is struggling, Socal get your facts right.

This is the same Roddick who leads Djoko h2h Sad , no wonder you don't like his forehand laughing

You made a completely false statement, luckily i listened to his commentary as well. This what happens when people listen half and manipulate half ending up writing Gibberish, sorry Socal I am a fan of your neutral view but not here, you are certainly way too biased on Roddick. censored

Murray has this in the bag. Seriously if Querrey beats Cilic then thats Murray in the QF's. Querrey is appaling and Murray would make him look like a snail and just run rings round him. I'm after a Del Potro/Murray QF at least some quality opponents instead of this garbage. I know you will all reply saying look at what happened to Nadal but an upset tonight is not going to happen. Real shame Roddick went out and hope he doesnt retire, he deserved at least 1 wimbledon title.

Question - if Querrey and Cilic stay locked in the 5th and dont finish tonight, they'll have to come back on Monday. Which would then force a Murray match to Tuesday, correct?

Yer but i'm telling you Murray could beat Querrey with a blindfold. Querrey is a serve and no movement, so i'm hoping Cilic can do the business and at least give Murray a challenge. Murray should have this done and dusted by 21.30
