The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Oxford
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The Pub has made it's way to Oxford - the new location for newly promoted London Welsh.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the montage of pictures of Lyn Jones above the bar.

Mick, they are one of Europe's leading manufacturers' of Buses. Export all over the world. London has quite a number now and they recently started supplying them with the hybrid electric bus.

Nice one Rory. Sounds like a good company. Acronyms wreck my head though. Management speak bullshoite.

Thanks mate. I can't wait to get started to be honest, despite the fact work starts at 7 in the morning.

Nah not at all. I didn't even do technology at school for my GCSEs. So I will have to work really hard.

Fair play.
There's a great satisfaction in making something with your own hands, i haven't done it since my college days (made a wind turbine) but if i had a house i'd love to have a little workshop to tinker about in.

It's a bit weird, my grandad on my dad's side was a carpenter (made his own house in West Cork, his own boat etc) and my Uncle on my mom's side has more or less redone the majority of his house by himself. My dad wouldn't be great at the whole manufacturing side of things though.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Oxford
Flew in to Eindhoven from Dublin this morn. Man it was sooo HOT! So was the burd sitting opposite me, on a bus to the Dam, as she purposely and slowly wound me up by peeling her top off. Jeeeezuz!
She knew. She bloody knew what she was doing.
It got even worser when the air-conditioning kicked in. Ya could have hung a wet duffle-coat on them.
When does it stop, Da!?

Story regs?
Good be back in The Dam.

Afternoon pub
Very productive morning today And hats off to the lovely lady I spoke to in Environmental Health at my local council. Very nice and a source of all the help and encouragement I needed
My small-scale cake making business is slowly taking shape now
I'm probably going to regret asking this but does anyone have any clever ideas as to what I could call my little enterprise? Suitable ones though please!! And yes Glas and Mickado, I am looking at you two!

Best way to come up with any name is to just brainstorm everything that comes into your head, no matter how stupid! Then narrow it down.

It should be named in a way that reflects you and your personality swanny, but also relate to the company.

On the basis that sex sells but you cant be too direct:
"Baked Goods"
Putting younger people immediately in mind of the original American Pie
For the hard of thinking you could have mashed apple pie as your logo.

Thanks everyone, you really are lovely people
EDIT: just seen TT's suggestion, Tokens of my Confection. That is superb!!
