The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Oxford
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The Pub has made it's way to Oxford - the new location for newly promoted London Welsh.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the montage of pictures of Lyn Jones above the bar.

The highest previously was 152.6mm in 1912.
I would say the 72.6mm average isn't really accurate since we seem to have had a lot more rain in the summer over the past few years. Or am I imagining that?
Wales had more rain, 205mm but the % was around the same at 238%.
Surely that is actually only a 133% increase, no?
Zactly my point. 169.2 is 233% of 72.6, so the rainfall this June was 233%hat of the average, but not 233more than the average.

While I'm having a go at you I hate this kind thing of rugby fans being great, and better than everyone else, it's just a bit of a superiorty complex tha kind of annoys me. I hate some rugby fans think they're better than others be it soccer fans whatever. Just annoys me a bit.

It's Math if you're American, Maths if you're Irish/British, Math/Matematiques if you're French and Mathematik if you're German.

Kiwi/Dreamer or any of the mods. We are into four figures and will need a new pub soon.
Only one request from me. NO Flip pictures of Gavin Henson above the Bar.
One of Bradley Wiggins would be OK though.
I know, that's two requests

They reported on Mr Henson signing for London Welsh on BBC Breakfast this morning. Guess which clip they showed? That's right, his match-winning penalty against England in 2005. That shows you how little he's built on his potential since then. (I know he had injuries, but still.)
