Waldouck moves to Northampton

Good move for the club and the player, i reckon.

Jesus, that would have been an ideal signing for Bath. Missed the boat again. We are crying out for a centre! Waldouck would be good value, EQ, young, potential to start again and deliver that early promise.

Bit of a sick note but a very talented player. Maybe he will be less likely to get injured with the Saints pack offering more protection. Shame as I was hoping Luther Burrell would kick on following his move to Saints as he is a good young barrelling 12 but now it looks like he'll be playing second fiddle to the Waldouck/Pisi midfield.

I also heard that they've signed up Pisi's younger brother a centre/wing.

Aye, the only thing stopping Ken Pisi coming was getting a work permit. As he played in the Pacific Cup, that has been sorted.

Gavin Henson is on the market if you are looking for a centre.

Interesting to see the transfer fee becoming more prominent - first Morgan now Waldouck.

Henson looks to be off to London Welsh. Possibly with Brett Deacon (though he's been offered his old squad backup position at Tigers again).

True Beshocked it's never a good thing when players start handing in transfer requests. The contract you sign should mean something. It's not a new thing though Dupuy forced a move from Tigers to Stade back in 2009 with Tigers netting a handy £120k in compensation.

More bad news for Bath with Mauro Bergamasco and Andrea Masi deciding that they did want to stay and play for Zebre after all, they'd have been good Bath additions (rumours were solely 606v2 possibility gossip before anyone asks).
