If he over uses it it trains Djokovic to handle it.

Roger hit 2 winners there but baseline defence crap won over.

Reckoner - he's a million miles from over using it.
I agree he should use it every point though, obviously.

The fact is in the last few points Fed has hit 3 clean forehand winners but the different conditions have allowed djok to reach the ball and return.

If they were winners then Djokovic wouldn't have retrieved them.

Fed striking the ball much better. Finally his timing seems to be on.

Sorry but I think the roof over is making it a little quicker. Not sure though. Another BP for Fed here...

It is really frustrating. Fed could do no more that rally, he hit 2 massive forehands to watch Djok return them from way over the left hand side of the court.
Pathetic.

They favour a baseline defender like djok though. Old courts that Djok was broken.

Is it time to stop watching tennis that you no longer enjoy? Perhaps the evolution of the game has ruined it for you as a spectacle?

There is no doubt about that. But At least I can still admire Federer's genius even if it gets returned with a moonballing piece of sh.ite

This set has been much better than the first 2.
You get the feeling it could decide the destiny of the match.

I feel this set is a must win for Federer. As I said if he keeps holding his serve the pressure remains on Djokovic.

Why? To watch Djok return them all by doing nothing of his own.

Really high calibre third set. I do wonder if that long game in the middle, where Djokovic managed to fend off break points and Federer missed forehand chances into the tram lines, could be the decider.
