At least I can enjoy the final as a neutral!
I still think Fed fans would want the comfort of a double break before dreaming of final number 8

People keep your feet on the ground eh? Sure Fed is doing great but where is the real Djokovic today? He has been pretty poor really with errors spraying all over the place and you can't deny it. I am not taking any credit away from Roger as he has done great at hassling Djoko and it has paid off but Djoko ...where are you?

I've been thinking that for 3 and a bit sets but no sign of it happening!

Maybe today is the real Djoko - last year was unreal.

This awesome, most expected a Djokovic win but until Fed wins match point I'm waiting...! Brilliant stuff from Fed, his first serve in has held up remarkably well! Djokovic is the one fighting for his service games!!!

C'mon Roger, close this out, then beat Tsonga in the final, win 7th Wimby, and retire at the US Open later this year. That will be nice ending for one of the greatest stories in tennis.

I have always had respect and admiration for Federer. Never ever had a bad word to say about the guy.
Just I am partisan down the middle and being British makes it that much more frustrating waiting for that 76 year duck to break

No it was just Djoko playing better than he is now just as Fed was playing better in say 2008/09.

This last set and a half has been like 2006 era
The Youzhny performance has brought his game on leaps.

This is going to be a tense finish. I keep telling you. Djokovic at MP down is a different animal and once he gets a BP he takes it and turns the match. This could go either way still. Fed obviously favourite but a double break could be important.

Only the 3rd set was peak Federer. 1 and 4 (so far) more a below par Djok

Djokovic can't be tired after surviving 5 hour marathons with Rafa surely he can handle a 2 hour match with Fed?

This match is important for their rivalry, Djokovic would have edged ahead in their slam H2H and come close to their overall H2H. How Fed takes the edge in the slams and builds a bit of distance!!!
Fed gets more break points!!!!

Normally I'd agree but he is hitting far too many routine unforced errors and seems devoid now of thar spirit. Fed looking icily cool now.

Virtual match points. Will Djokovic do as well against Fed as he usually does on MPS?

Great save on 3 effective match points from Djokovic. As usual, someone should tell him to play like that on every point!

Still one or two more break points in this game and Fed will take one I fancy.

Unsure, Fed has been serving very well
which makes it a lot harder for Djokovic to get back into this match. Djokovic is having to fight for his service games, Fed isn't in this 4th set

Seriously, if Djokovic thought he was MP down on every point, he'd never lose.
He often plays the big poitns well, but tody he's ONLY playing the big poitns well.

Would like to see Djoko's unforced errors count - must be very biog. Fed keeping the Serb pinned down and all he has to do is hold serve once more and the final spot is his.

Exactly. He just goes for it and trusts his shots more when he is match point down.

Djoko would be back where he belongs, third place in rankings, and if Murray goes to Final, then fourth place for Djoko.
