Well done. A couple of your were right to say it was different today. He was serving so well, and Djokovic below par, that it was enough.

Well done Roger
Djokovic just wasn't himself today, really didn't look interested at the end of the third/start of the fourth. But that doesn't take away from Federer's great play, and a well deserved win

he was below par because of PRESSURE. Fed handled it better and did what needed to be done. He played great!

A few Djoko fans said Fed had more pressure. looked like Djokovic had more pressure and didn't handle it as well!!!

Oh man, what a win for Fed, probably the sweetest for years.
All the doubters, I wish them welcome back to reality
Djoko has been crushed and by WTF he will be fourth on ATP list.

Re: Wimbledon Day 11 - Mens Semi-Finals
Seriously, there were 4 reasons why I picked Fed in 4 over Djok.
1. He wanted it more.
2. He is the greatest player on grass
3. His variety and Djokovic's lack of it was key
4. Their last 2 matches... I was unimpressed with Djok and very impressed with Federer. Djok was not tested at all.. and it was his undoing.

Djokovic lost because of pressure? Maybe. But it hasn't been a problem for him in matches just as big or bigger in the last year or so?

Oh sorry, didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Seriously, Djokovic played great. It's just he used to have that nickname for a while and it's the standard reason given for losses on these boards. Bit of parody was all that was meant!

I am just happy that Roger has proven why he has won six titles in seven years. He deserves a credible shot at another grandslam title and to tie Sampras' record of seven Wimbledon titles.

Not just that he was against Fed on grass... it isn't as easy to just turn it around when you are facing fed on the surface!

YESSSSSSSSS! Sweet petite. Sweetest of victories today and tomorrow the sweetest of prizes if he pulls of the biggest of the big ones... the big cherry the big records falling to the Fed. OMG OMG.
Nobody deserves it more. I will hate Scotland or France for ever if it is not to be.
If he wins I want to see him and Mirka conceive their next child on the centre court. It has got to be one of those player and wife moments, where Feds legs it up to his team in the stands. But lets keep it cool and realistic.
I will be too nervous to watch exept odd visits to the internet to check the score.

Well played Roger Federer. Today he was better in all departments but Djokovic for whatever the reason just wasn't at the races today mentally and tennis-wise. Still it is a massive boost to Federer going into another Wimbledon Final and he will go into that match as a warm to hot favourite.
One last thing......
Best of luck Andy.

Rarely I have seen Djokovic, the man who dismantled Nadal for 8 or so consecutive finals, play better than today. Yet he was neatly outplayed by a 31 years odl Federer. What does this tell us?

Great to see Fed back in another Slam final and I think he will be rubbing his hands with delight that Nadal will not be on the other side of the net. All omens for sure pointing to a Federer 7th title.

Why was more on the line for Djokovic today than when he won his first slam or his first Wimbledon or US Open? hardly?? At most it was on a par with those matches. if that.
Wasn't even a final. No guarantee that Murray/Tsonga won't cause a slight surprise and walk off with the title.

Well played Federer. Will be the favourite in the final for obvious reasons.

Now then. How many chances will Murray get to win a slam without playing either one of the top 2?

Maybe SoCal was finally quit telling us about the 'wee keira' which is seriously boring. It will be even more difficult for him to maintain that line if Fed makes No.1 on Monday. Thanks to this loss Fed looks good to get to No.1 even if he doesn't win, Novak has a slim lead of 725 right now which will vanish if Fed wins.
The commentators and even I think that Djokovic wasn't able to deal with the pressure as well as Federer. What does the unforced errors tell you? Of coure Fed's 1st serve in was crucial as many of us said but Djokovic's wasn't too shabby either. What else could it be?

I predict it will happen once. This is the only time it will happen.
Though technically of course, Roger is number 2 already and number 1 possibly.

If Andy keeps his composure today and continue in the same vein as his fourth set serving performance against Ferrer, he will be in very good shape. He will have to do the same on Sunday, should he advance to the final.
It is extremely important for Andy to not play passively in his upcoming semi and in a potential final matchup with Roger.
