Hmm the first set continues to be Djokovic's undoing. That is 5 breaks of his serve in the first set in the championships.

I like how Fed's using the short slice to bring Novak in

Feds a game away from the first set. Couldn't have wish for a better start for 6 time champion.

Roger looks very very comfortable so far.

Now imagine if Federer was in his prime. Djokovic beat a prime fed on grass? laughable.

Now Federer needs to kick on. He took the first set before Djokovic could get going and he needs to keep the foot down to the metal.

All I have read is that Federer is cutting him to ribbons in almost every rally.

Hasn't threatened Roger in the slightest yet.

Seems to be as everyone predicted - when Fed serves this well, things get tricky for Novak.

The most important thing Federer can do is keep up the first serve percentages.

Federer near his best throws Djok away like a rag doll on this surface.

feds has to hold here cant just throw the initiative away now!

I dont think Federer is playing that well once the ball is in play, he is serving like a god and Novak is missing more than usual although I think the slice has something to do with it

I mean, it's hardly surprising that Fed's concentrated on making a fast start...

LK - he's barely used the slice since he broke. It's like he knows Novak can't handle it so doesn't want him getting used to it... But he surely knows that it's his biggest weapon to break him.

0-30 now though on the Fed serve.

Fed's level dropped big time there.

See when Federer's serve is even near what it used to be, he wins. But that was a crap service game that would not have happened in his prime.

And just like that Feds is broken

I get the feeling that break could be a major turning point unless Fed can break back.

Federer needs to chalk a game up in this second set.

If I was annacone I would tell Roger to go to the loo after each set.

This is why I think if Murray wins and faces Federer in the final, Murray will win. Because if Roger isn't on top form, he can be got at as shown by lesser players like Malisse and Bennetaeu.

Can't be that easy he is 1-0 down in sets.

Wasn't bothering him in the first set.

It's a bit old school this match.

Fast looking court, serves dominating and very few rallies over 5 shots.

Half day holiday from work today. Early signs are that Djokovic might have Fed's number in the rallies; he looks favourite at the moment. FEderer really needs to do well on first serves to have his best chance.

Fed is moving fine IMHO.

I know that Roger has broken, but his return looks fairly ineffective.

Of course Novak is serving well.
