Who will survive?
So! With the week for leaders standing down because they keep the interest rating artificially lower than it should be, which rugby chief should follow the example because they keep the IRB rating worse than it should be or lose the interest of the fan?
So in IRB ranking order, let's have an examine!
Steve Hanson : Just a late drop goal away from lose the proud record to new zealand of never lose to Ireland. Dan Carter's wobbling drop goal probably save the world's most sour face coach from a public lynching in Christchurch. The man who famously have to be asked to leave the bar so that happy hour can start make the country nervous by picking the controversial assistants and seen by some fan as "too conservative" a selection. But he surprise everyone by turning on two spectacular efforts for the world champion all blacks to book end the lucky escape at the hands of the irish team who sudden show their potential for 80 minutes in one probably last effort "down under" by legendary Brian O'Driscoll. My mind he make some benefit from remover of Wayne Smith who is widely called a great coach but never impress me with his prefer style of attack and seem to fall to pieces in RWC.
AWOP conclusion: Steve Hanson keep his job at least until 2013.
Robbie Deans : Getting the Canterburian from New Zealand was seen as some coup by the Wallabies and make a lot Kiwis angry! Graham Henry prove them all wrong when he whip Dean's Wallabies 10 in a row, never lose the Bledisloe Cup to him and then knock him from the World Cup! Deans now have the worst record of any Australian coach, and he is not even Australian! so there is some feat.
Deans seem to struggle with limit resources and unable to make the depth to Australian rugby. Embarrassment in home and away loss to Scotland and England, loss to Ireland in the RWC and the home defeat to Samoa is not sufficient credential for a proud sport nation like Australia. Australia seem to lose interest in rugby when they not doing well instead of get angry and ask to get the coach sacked so not so much pressure as in NZ or Wales might save him so far.
But it is impossible not to noticing the work of Ewen MacKenzie at the Queensland Reds who turn the team around and win the SXV last year, or see how Jake White take the unknown Brumbies and fashion the best Australian SXV team this year and form the backbone of the Wallaby revival against Wales through substitution.
On the balance side, Deans keep Australia some how to the #2 spot in the rankings behind probably the best all blacks team in professional era and who can beat them anyway???
AWOP conclusion: Deans unlikely to appear in front of the enquiry led by angry MPs or a Judge, but he will not take the Wallabies on the EOYT!
Heyneke Meyer : Well after a dark age of political coach for Springboks and many years of angry fans there was some celebrate when Heynke Meyer name to the position!
But there was audible disappointment from home Springboks fans as he seem to offer no new direction and build on the existing kick and chase based power game from the PdV era, except the players let him down badly as they slip up and give England some hope with the third match draw. Even the fearsome SA pack get matched in the front row and set piece by quite the rookie England pack and there must be a lot of suspicion that SA must find new pivots in the 9/10 who can unleash the promising backs coming through from champion SA U20's team!
AWOP conclusion: Jury still meeting in private and he will get some leash through to next world cup.
Stuart Lancaster : The caretaker become the coach and is some true that England fans make more than ready for a real coach with some real proven track record after the failure of the gambling on Martin Johnson.
A series of failed attempts to lure in big names from overseas leave Lancaster with a raggly team of second-choice staff which probably by accident is the best choices for the job in my mind!
Building through the 6N and close to their own grandslam but for a few bounces of the balls, Lancaster and friends get creditable performance and results in the difficult tour to SA. They seeming to build through the series, learning from the mistake and eventually grind out a draw. My mind is England will struggling against faster teams like AUS or NZ but given every other option already turn down the job my mind is Lancaster
is settle in for some long building road and will make a good appearance in home 2015 RWC!
AWOP conclusion: Safer than the mortgage to beat on Lancaster retire from his post at the ripe age!
Philippe Georges Saint-André : Well after the France team make the final of 2011 RWC despite being the worst performing 1st tier team in the tournament with loss to Tonga and heavy defeat to NZ there is little seen since to lose the enigma status of the French. Like everything about the mysterious culture France show up to be both worse than you thought and better than you expect and beat you only when you thinking they have no chance.
Maybe in the new era a more settle selection and more returning to passionate and expressive French style might see the team building into 2015 finalists too and maybe get the first RWC for continental Europe. In French the crticism and analysis work by shrug the shoulders and the national team crippled by typically complicated and inexplanable relationship with the clubs and by the much number of foreign players in the bloating club squads. Is really just some riddle and who can say what is happen there.
AWOP conclusion: rolling the dice and put half the money down on red. Toulon not doing so bad though right?
Warren Gatland : Well nobody come under pressure quite like a Welsh coach. The country have some bipolar relationship to the team coach, especially when they are foreigners! A succession of future great All Blacks coaches cut the teeth in Wales. They make a familiar cycle: Great Redeemer, Grandslam Hero , Disappointment, Ridicule, Ejection.
Wales again full of promise and make a good show in the SH RWC and win a lot of foreign fans. They follow this up with a winning the grandslam again.
But really there was some expectation they would make at least a win, if not take the series against the depleted Australia and now some drums start to thump in the distance as Gatland really have the best Welsh team in professional era but seem about 5% short of some ideas to make contenders to the world stage.
AWOP conclusion: history repeating here. Gatland's fall from grace will be completed in EOYT disgrace and fail to match the grandslam achievement. Wales will go the RWC 2015 with Howley in charge.
Declan Kidney : Kidney has a special talent for being polite and taking the best club players in European rugby and make a sum less than the total of the parts! He is terrible in this human arithmetic and must go. A victory in Christchurch would only have given him the undeserving place in history in my mind and he holds back Irish rugby in what should of been the golden age.

Well you're correct on the Irish side of things anyway. Disagree about the golden age but he is holding us back.

Deans will stay. For some reason he's never held responsible for their losses. Any excuse he coughs up seems acceptable...its usually using the words depth or injury.

For the record NZ were never behind after half time and took the game by the scruff of the neck when Dagg was binned.Yellow card = 10 points is accepted tariff.NZRFU has more idea than there fans[some of trust?]Hansen was never in doubt and hey Ireland will win one day.Kidney is the most vulnerable Ireland in serious rebuilding mode HC form like Super rugby is an unlikelty guide.Deans has a right to quote injureis they have been horrendous and teams like NZ and Sa have suffered badly to those in the recent past.Oz win/loss stats overall are 56% ,just in front France 55.5% and England 55%.BUT I would love to know there stars post 1995 when Union paid better than League. What has killed them is a reliable Goal kicker or lack off rather there recent stats would be a lot better.Gatland?Wales under him have 3 6Ns Grand Slams in 7 years a pretty good recent RCW a VERY creditable OZ Tour record no problems.

My mind is Australia culture some difference taylorman. Not showing the annoyed by complain about the coach and witch hunting. But they get bored and fans going to league and afl. When numbers dropping they will quietly replacing him with Mackenzie.

Re: Who will survive?
Interesting points.
On a side note you are still making the same grammatical errors in your posts. You add "ing" to verbs unnecessarily thus confusing past and present tenses.
You might want to consider changing your EFL course. Considering your constant basic errors and how often you contribute to this site alone you are not making great head way recently.

Probably Maes because you are confusing present continuous with present simple.
Or may be because you are a troll.

Guys the topic is about which coaches will survive, not who are linguistic experts or trolls.

Gentlemen, why do you come onto 606V2 to get on each other's nerves.
If you don't like what a poster says ignore it, better yet if a poster irritates you stay away from his threads.
This is not that difficult, if you have something to add to a thread then do so, but this continuous badgering of each other is truly tiresome and somewhat pathetic.
