Yeah the Cazorla signing has been completed about 50 million times according to twitter and my Arsenal mate who thinks they are signing like everyone including Sahin and M'Vila

I feared this might happen. Please no, imagine the amount of work on our physio Seriously could be alright for us, he knows where the bac k of the net is. However his injuries and potential wages scare me

United could scupper any loan move to Arsenal as they may put in an offer for a permanent deal
This is however newspaper talk, which if you believe then we are also signing RVP and Moura in the next few days (I think not)

You think they will because you love Sahin, and you've protested they won't sign Lucas because you don't like him...

Re: Big Premier League Signings II
im allowed to have an opinion and i think Sahin can become quality if he joined United.
i dont have a problem with Lucas. i just think 30m is too expensive for a 19 year old and plus his a winger we all ready have enough wingers

I'll be honest the only things I know about Sahin is from Football Manager, which isn't the most reliable of sources. I've never seen him play. Is he any good?
As for Moura I can't comment as I've never seen him play either, but I'm a bit concerned by the amount of money being mentioned when we don't have a brilliant track record with Brazilian players and I don't think there's a great deal of money at United at the minute

Hes a good passer from deep, isn't that great defensively. Personally I think hes a tad overrated.
Doubt Man Utd can afford him regardless.

when his fit he play fantastically well like he has shown during his time at Dortmund. i think we could afford him real look like they want to off load him and if modric joins them can see him wanting to leave

If they're shelling out 50m+ on Lucas and RVP I suspect not.
As I say, its more than likely the tabloids throwing darts at a board to see what sticks. Madrid appear more inclined to loan him out.

Is there actually any link for Sahin to Utd apart from Bull wanting him because he thinks he is better than he actually is?

United wont get RVP though his wage demands are too high and i doubt the gunners would sell him to a rival.

I think the Mail or some tabloid had it yesterday. Papers make 100s of these throwaway rumours per an anonymous source, very few actually happen.

However, while they are still in for RVP they can't spend the cash they allocate on him. Which gives Arsenal all the leverage in both deals.

Fair enough, this Owen to Norwich thing was tweeted by one thing, but I can't see anything else about it. Just more rubbish I should imagine, probably put Owen's love of horses and Fakenham Racecourse being nearby together and thought he could go to Norwich

Proves he's another money grabber then. The only reason someone goes to PSG is for the cash. The French League is atrocious, look at what APOEL Nicosia did to Lyon. There are great players in France but no great teams except PSG.
It could be true though, as Rafael has apparently told Lucas the weather in Manchester is dreadful

And I suppose the main attraction for Lucas to come to OT is the scenery and hes accepting a small wage?
PSG probably a better bet going forward right now.

Cazorla a done deal. Good signing for Arsenal for pennies. I'll put him in the table when it's confirmed.

According to GSC it's been confirmed about 20 times.
I think the money being spent on Cazorla is the RVP money still.

Agree with this, some days I do really worry that Giroud could go the same way as Chamack (though I don't think he will). And we definately need a RB/LB to give us strength and depth and to play while Sagna recovers (can only see him playing 20 odd games this season)
Though I do think the Koscienly/Vermaelen partnership will suprise lots of people, and think Koscienly will go the same way as Song, where many people thought he was a liability when he 1st came into the team, but he made the position his own and is now considered not only a 1st team player but world class in some corners - desired by Barca, and a very good player in other corners

I have to admit I prefer Koscielny more than Vermaelen. For me sometimes Vermaelen is more interested in making stupid runs forward than actually defending

Agree with you Olly.
Think Koscielny has really stepped up. Never really saw it in him when one of my mates (an Arsenal fan) was raving about him but hes a pretty solid defender now. Get a couple of fullbacks in and the Arsenal back 4 is looking pretty strong.

Re: Big Premier League Signings II
I like Vermaelen as well, and think he's very strong and steady in defence, and has a good partnership with Koscienly where Vermaelen will go forward, and offer a threat (meaning the opposition midfield will be wary of going forward too much) while using Koscienly's speed to cover - but I think Vermaelen has very good positional play to know when to do what.

If I'm honest, I think Vermaelen is a tad overrated. I am only going off what I saw of him against Norwich last season, but he seemed like he could be physically dominated

Re: Big Premier League Signings II
I think Vermaelen did struggle a bit after coming back from injury last season, and being needed to cover LB when we had our crisis, but did improve a lot, especially towards the end - but I expect him to be back to his 1st season level this season. And he was very, very good in his 1st season (even with Gallas playing next to him!)
