Rangers will be playing in Division 3 next season.
Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XXII
Doesn't seem to me like the evidence is conclusive enough to show that he was being racist.
I would say there is enough doubt for him to be found not guilty.
Seems like it's one word against another, and however much I wouldn't trust Terry's word, you can't convict someone on it.
We'll probably never know whether he was or not.

I don't think he should be found guilty either but I get the feeling he will be.
One thing I will say is that the Guardian's coverage of the case feels hugely biased. Every headline is negative towards Terry, and with negative quotations from the prosecution against him. At least the BBC seem to simply provide non-partisan news items.

It's quite similar to the Evra/Suraez case in that it's one persons view against another and it may come down to reliability and consistency of evidence.

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XXII
If it's not guilty will he be charged by the FA?
I don't like the guy but like you said theres not enough proof and it's not right to find him guilty on here say.
Saying that wasn't the Evra and SUarez incident really one word against the other? Ik now they interviewd both a couple of times and they foun Evras story to be more consistent.

There is so much dislike for Terry that everyone decides he must be guilty and it's just a case of proving it.
I dislike Terry, but in this case, I cannot tell whether he was racist or not

Terry found not guilty, I hope people just drop it now.
Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XXII
The magistrate pretty much said that Terry used used the words ******* black **** but can't be sure it was an insult

It will be interesting to see what the FA do. Considering the Evra Suarez case as well.

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XXII
If he has been found not guilty in a court of law, I would imagine there is nothing the FA can do. If they then ban him or fine him then he could simply point to the fact the law of the land found him innocent.

There's nothing the FA can do.
It's a pretty strong precedent when a magistrates court say it cannot be proved.
If the FA do anything, it will be easily appealed and overturned based on the court verdict.

Yeah that is true. I dunno how to react tbh. I thought there was more evidence on Terry, than on Suarez but I guess not.
Anyways I need to get on with this apprentice task

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XXII
How was it that they found Suarez guilty? I know they interviewd the players a few times and others and they felt that Evras evidnce or statement was much more clearer and consistenct wheras Suarez contracdited himself a few times and said diffrent things.
I wonder how the Terry trial was done and how they didn't find him guilty. DIdn't Ferdinand say that he didn't hear Terry actually say the words but someone told him?

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XXII
Suarez admitted he had said it, but his argument was that it wasn't offensive in his own coutry. The result was "well it is in our land son"
Terry has claimed that he was repeating back what Ferdinand had some to him in the form of questioning like "is that what you said, I said?". That probably couldn't be proved one way or the other.

I'm confused by that lol. PM for Gregers

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XXII
Then who accused Terry? An where did the racist language come from?
Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XXII
Terry was reported to the police by a member of the public, which resulted in these proceedings.

Member of public, so that person heard what Terry said? I don't believe that one bit. AN Ferdinand jumping on to the bang wagon.

All the following are available for cash (min of TM value):
Julian Speroni
Nathaniel Clyne
Kolo Toure
Walter Samuel
Fabricio Coloccini
Seydou Keita
Elias
Gary Medel
Ross Barkley
Miralem Sulejmani
Keisuke Honda
James Milner
Hatem Ben Arfa
Nilmar
Adrian
And these are available for cash, but it would take an offer significantly over their TM value...
Joe Hart
Nikica Jelavic
Phil Jagielka
Domenico Criscito
Kyle Walker
Not one sniff of interest. The only response I got back was Soddy trying to sell me his players as part of the rebuilding.
The players aren't that bad surely.
Or is everyone keeping their powder dry for the rush to get Robben...

Presumably that's the project to set-up an EasyJet airport in Norwich, as opposed to the less probable plan for the Canaries to qualify for European football
