Olly, he could have had Gotze and Eriksen injured, or his only real striker. No need for sympathy.

I'm still only on mobile, so can someone else do the PL injuries for me?

Well Badstuber and Adebayor are key injuries, but at least its not two in the same position out.

I'm waiting for the day both my injuries are both my goalkeepers!

So is his rating on here purely down to rumours linking him to United?

It's a good job SAF has a good record of signing Brazilian midfielders.

I'm banking on him having a good Olympics. And he looks decent, but then you could say the same for Neymar. For all we know he could come to Europe and be the next Kerlon. You never know until they do

Looking forward to seeing him at the Olympics. We see a lot of Neymar and he does look the real deal. If Lucas Moura is in his class, you've got a great player. but if he is, why do we not see more coverage of him?

The only way we will ever find out there talent, is when they leave Brazil and we seem them more regularly. Personally I don't think Neymar is all he is billed up to be. And I must admit I have only seen glimpses of Moura, but he seems a decent player

If its always been that way, this is probably just been brought up because someone missed out. It wouldn't be an issue if they got the player. If I hadn't got Pedro I'd be disappointed but would just get on with it

In fairness, it was me that raised it as an odd time to have the increase and I did not have the cash to sign any of the players, so wouldn't have been able to sign them if the deadline had been 1am, 2am or midday the following day.

90% of the activity happens between 9-5, so I really do not understand the sense in the midnight time.

Because it has always been the case does not make a valid argument for keeping it the same. They always burned women who they thought were witches, until they discovered a more suitable approach.

Also I was on at midnight, so I could have tried to bid if I had the cash...

One other point

either way you will have people that can't get online at the time.

I agree with this, but isn't the number who can't get on at midday significantly lower than those who can't get on at midnight.

Activity on the pages suggests so, so is it not more sensible to make the deadline more open to the majority than the minority?

There is one french DM that I rate very highly who hasn't yet been snapped up. I am keeping an eye on him, but holding off as I went for Medel instead last week

Maybe a better representation would have been an exam you aren't even 50% ready for.

Although 50% is the pass mark so I may just learn half of the stuff tonight and hope I guess well as to what will come up.
