Made sense for O'Driscoll though. Crawley Town in League 1 on a small budget or former European Champions Nottingham Forest in the Championship witha lot of money to spend.

No offence to O'Driscoll and/or Crawley, but when Forest got taken over by super rich new owners, I don't think I saw the next headline in the Nottingham Post (or whatever they have up there) as 'O Driscoll Appointed New Manager'

I saw something more like 'Eriksson Appointed' or 'Forest Make £90m Bid For Rooney'.

Agree Sodhat. Considering Mick McCarthy, Glenn Hoddle and Sven were linked, appointing a former coach who the players like is unusual for a rich arabian family.

Rumour is they want Steve Coppell too, but not to worry, everyone knows Coppell = loyalty...

I am holding out for a lawyers offer for him.

I have to work with what I inherited here, and the TPs are fairly exhausted on the known players that are going to have a rating in those positions.

There are a few good ones still there better than what I have, but they aren't going to be rated enough, so on here they are not upgrades

Ah right. There is a couple of big name Premier League midfielders, but their ratings will have dropped I reckon and I think they would be a big risk
