Van Persie and Rooney upfront would be the most feared partnership in the world. I don't care what anyone says.

RVP was world class last year, but before that, far too injury prone. Was last year a flash in the pan, or are his problems behind him. That is what any new club has to weigh up.

Would I have him at Everton.....I wouldn't even hesitate.

Rooney can stay forward as well, he did it the previous season, played as a finisher, last year played slightly deeper behind Welbeck. I think they'd be outstanding together.

And I'd fear Real's, Man City's and Barca's more than Rooney and RVP though. Possibly even PSG with Ibra and Pastore

Of course, forgot about Lavezzi. If they settle quickly, they are serious CL contenders this year.

Arsenal would be mad to sell RVP to anyone in England. And if I was an Arsenal fan and they did I would be outraged.

Also RVP last season was world class. It all depends whether he can get near that level again next season. And losing a striker who scored 30 + goals for you the season before makes you weaker. I fail to see how it doesn't. That's why I really feared for us if Holt left, it's hard to replace those goals.

(This took forever to type on my phone lol)

When they do Holt's name on the back of shirts, do they do extra large letters, so that it looks normal size on Holt's back. 4 normal letters i just going to get lost with such girth

Apparently Elena Baltacha's brother was a football player so I looked him up. Turns out he "played" for a weird team. I clicked on the team and then a ridiculous amount of random football players turned up.

I've not seen anywhere yet that actually quotes Sao Paulo as saying that, it's just the Daily Mail stating it which everyone has picked up on.

Bang on. Ignoring Cherries' crush on Neymar, he's a very good player but he really annoys me with his constant cheating. Everyone does it now and then but he always does it. No time for him, hope he breaks his leg in 4 places. Preferably one of those places being Middlesbrough.
