Glen Johnson retires
Lost a 10 rounder in Chicago and has now decided to call it quits. A good decision I believe, but he will be missed! An old school grafter, likable character and true credit to the sport! What was your favourite Johnson fight? mine personally was the Jones match...

Great servant of the sport, hope he enjoys the rest of his life now!
Probably got robbed in that 10 rounder, but who is counting...

Admitted he lost last night and gave his opponent a lot of credit.
Will certainly be missed.

Been a terrific servant, not blessed with an abundance of talent but always in shape and would give any fighter a hard nights work.
A credit to the sport.
Cheers

Good luck to the Road Warrior. One of those "throw-back fighters" who would fight anyone and any time. Great guy to have in the sport and a risk for any fighter to be in with.
It's unheard of for a guy in this day and age to start boxing at 20 and reach 70 pro fights (becoming a champion and the Rings Boxer of the Year!) and he should certainly get in the Hall of Fame for it.

glenn ''why did they rob me' johnson.
must seriously be losing his touch if he gave anyone any credit. that makes one less glorified journeyman for the supposed champions to test themselves against. cant say i will miss him

Re: Glen Johnson retires
Saying Johnson should get in the hall of fame is over inflating him massively, a credit to the sport for fighting anyone, anywhere, anytime but he falls way short of the standard of the IBHOF let alone what i'd consider HOF worhty.

Honest pro, tough as nails and willing to fight anyone and anywhere. Gatekeeper for most of his life but no easy mark for anyone. Enjoy your retirement mate.
