I don't really think it's as simple as that, "You're bigger, so you shouldn't go down, even if you get hit with the guys best sunday punch that you don't see coming" Most guys that are good punchers at the lower weights, can hurt you if they land like that on you, within reason.

Look at the punch. It was another temple shot. Mormeck had him down with a similar shot and so did Thompson.

Nelson was saying those type of punched scrambles the brain like a drunk more so than a punch to the jaw.

Way back in the day, the consensus amongst top amateur coaches was he chinny but had immense power...the chin thing has been proven to be true, however his skill, heart and explosive clout have anulled the disadvantage.

If he can't get Vitali, how about a swansong back at cruiserseight against Huck. He could then retire with his reputation firmly back in tact. He's still got plenty to offer the game. And it's a chance to put to bed the he ruled a weak division argument. It would quite likely be a cracking fight too. And Vitali's a joke if he won't fight Haye!

Chirs Arreola, followed by Alexander Povetkin for the title (WBA) then went on to fight Vitali.


Or just fight Vitali and win in drastic manner.


The way he gobbed off against Wladamir, made a ridiculous entrance, fought like a chump, then blamed a pinky, is just pure bad and un-reversable for a so called "hard man"

How long to you expect Vitali to hang around for given that Haye fights twice a year at a push.

Helenius did not beat Chisora and the whole world knows it, the manner of victory was impressive against an opponent who 3 fellow top ten ranked fighters hadn't come close to stopping.

Its the manner of th win. Never in a month of sundays did Helenius beat Chisora.

When you lose three out of your last four fights....you can't really be that greater win for somebody can you???

He's a low-skilled plodder......and he did get convincingly wiped by Vit...

But I will agree with you Az that Haye can beat Vitty.........

Probably why he's not looking for a rematch!!

Unfortunately Truss in the current heavyweight climate knocking Chisora out does stand out as a good win.
