PRESS ALERT - Amir Khan & US Olympic Team host Wed 18 July press day

Amir Khan will be welcoming the USA Olympic boxing team to his Gloves Community Gym this Wednesday 18th July.

The silver medalist at the 2004 Athens Olympics is set to open his doors to the USA team as they prepare ahead of London 2012.

Past USA Olympic boxing teams have produced some of the world's greatest ever fighters including Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Oscar De La Hoya, with the current USA team one of the most formidable boxing sides around having competitors in nine out of the ten men’s weight categories for London 2012.

Members of the media are invited to Wednesday's event to interview the team and watch them train.

Amir Khan will also be on hand for interviews to discuss the Olympics and speak about his recent defeat against Danny Garcia.
