First topic message reminder :

Hello and welcome to the Dew Drop Inn, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

This week the pub has set up in Bridgend, the birthplace of ex Wales and Lions centre Dr. Jack Matthews, who has sadly passed away.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Dr Jack Matthews and his Welsh centres partner Bleddyn Williams.

Tyrone V Kerry has been a game full of passion and intesnity but poor quality. Shooting is absolute shoite.

Might be trendy but also cheap. Only €20 though. Recession shoes my sister ensures me they are called.

Find the PL a bit boring to watch most of the time. Not exciting like some other leagues. Germany seems to be pretty great for the excitement if not quality.

Really confused earlier. I changed the cord on the strimmer and was putting the head back on when my father said "there's no need to tighten it too much it's on a left hand thread". I'm so used to hearing him say it euphemistically that I just didn't comprehend what he was on about.

Good games maybe some high scoring, a lot of matches in the PL are decided before kickoff. You know who is going to win there aren't many shocks. My judgment is probably a bit clouded here as I hate barstoolers.

If you're following results, then the German league probably is more exciting. To be honest though, if that is the criteria I'd say the French league is the best. There have been 5 different winners in the past 5 years.

On watching games though, the Premier League is very good in the main.

It's not that ,The German league from little I have seen has great technical football as well.

I don't always agree with the Prem being great it's overhyped as is La Liga whcih while it has some pretty football on display at times is a bit bring with only 2 competititors

Not really Thom but GMAC is in second place, 4 shots of the lead so has a great chance.

It does Thomond and with more and more of these German starlets coming through, it is only going to get stronger.

The premiership is certainly over rated but it doesn't mean it isn't a really exciting comp.

I don't find it too exciting, we know only one or two guys can challenge for the title, relegation can be exciting at times but overall I don't find it that exciting. I suppose I don't have a team in it either although I do enjoy watching Wigan, play great stuff and are rubbish for half the year play well for a few months manage to avoid the drop!

I could call you a bandwagoner/barstooler but I won't Wink City are playing Blackburn, Watford and Man Utd. Not bad for a few friendlies. Close to 5k sold for United next week should sell more closer to it.

Sorry, but I've been to two Limerick in games in the past two years which is impressive given the amount of time I have spent in Limerick in that time. Saw the Finn Harps game a couple of weeks ago. And you know what, I don't even support them. I just like football.

I don't know how to do spoilers.

Not having a a go at you it's others I have a problem with, I think Limerick need success soon, JP won't stay around forever. Wouldn't mind seeing the mgo up but their goals need to be somewhat more achievable. They had a powerpoint with expectations that were quite frankly laughable. We could do with a Munster derby, Limerick's ground is a whole hoping to see them move soon.

To do a spoiler, highlight the piece you've written, hit others above the post box, it is the second option from bottom.

Its a good selection of movies tonight on the telly. Without even looking at the dedicated movie channels you have:

- Independence Day
- Shrek
- Training Day
- Welcome to the Jungle
- Casino Royale
- A Few Good Men

Ive decided on Casino Royale.

Apologies I just realised that Alien (1979 which I have seen) is a different film to AlienS (1986) which I have not seen.

I always wondered how Alien had won so many Oscars.

Must add Aliens to my ones to watch list.

Yeah I prefer Aliens to Alien personally, by a fair bit. Alien was brilliant when I first saw it but it isn't one I enjoy watching more than once really. It is really a sci-fi horror movie, while Aliens is more of a sci-fi action movie. Certain horror movies I find can be boring after the first go as they don't really have the same shock effect obviously.
