Isn't Federer not 31 until August? Does this mean these ages aren't right?

Also, what does the '12' refer to at the top of your article?

Aren't Harrison and Tomic 19? Yep Fed 31 in August.

So 70% players are between 25-31 yo, and nearly 40% of Top100 over 29yo...bet that's higher than say 10 years ago.

And going back to my thread the other day - only 19% of the top100 are under 25!!! Combine that with the highest ranked 18yo at #442 then this surely shows young players are finding it hard to break into or stay in the top 100.

i think the ages must be YE 2012.

BB/Lydian/Slippy... The years get 'rounded' upwards depending on home many months the DoB is away from the date I calculate the age to be (in this case it was 23 July 2012, which is close to 8 Aug 2012).
