Yeah, but it's different. When you go to see Frankie Boyle, you know what to expect, it attracts an audience that accepts that kind of humour. AW wasn't in the same position.
It's more like one of the Olympics commentators saying; Michael Phelps is like Ched Evans....unstoppable. It's not funny in a different context.

I really, really doubt it. It was solely negative publicity, and they're avoiding any negative publicity they can before Linda's Senate run. Considering they didn't even discipline him, it doesn't really work as a publicity stunt.
