Exactly, but when a player of RVP quality is on the market you have to act fast not mant quality players are available.

I would love United to sign Fellaini though, he is what we need.

If RVP is a direct replacement for Hernandez/Berbatov/Welbeck then a necessity, if he's going to play in a Rooney type position then a luxury.

It seams like a look at us sort of deal. Not getting Hazard and/or Moura will have hurt Fergie. Can Ronney and RVP play together though?

Can't disagree with that. Berbatov must be going. RVP is arguably the better finisher than Rooney so if Rooney drops into the hole and RVP is the man up front where does Shinji play? It's a bizarre signing (if it happens).

If Kagawa can play wide I don't see why they can't all fit in.

Carrick - Scholes

Kagawa - Rooney - Young

Maybe they are planning to drop Rooney even deeper, like Scholes did. In no way do I endorse that or expect it to be the case, but it is a theory all the same...

I know there's still time, but i've only got votes from Viva (and myself) for the Cherry Cup Final. Get them in on time for a £2m bonus, i'm going to add them to a word document every PM I receive and then everything is ready to post.

In a bid to build tension, i'm going to post the reasons before the results...

Leaves Valencia out though. He'll be starting as he's the new number 7. Can Shinji play LW?

Thomas Mueller 7/2 to join Spurs. Do they know something we don't?

Nani is like Walcott. Has a 6:1 ratio of bad games: good games.

I will vote sometime tonight, either before or after the Murray match.

I'll vote tonight, and do my pre season friendly tactics as well. And WWA votes.

RVP would be a great signing for United in my opinion. As long as you get a CM like Fellaini in, and maybe another defender, but your attack is looking pretty insane if you get RVP

Rooney is coming back to play for Everton.

He asked Tony Hibbert if he could.

Hands off Fellaini, he is too good for United. he should wait for Real, Barca or Citeh to come calling

You can. Scholes was a centre forward until age 24. Rooney might be 26 now, but there's always the chance he could emulate Scholes. Alan Smith and even further back, Brian McClair were centre forwards until Ferguson turned them into centre midfielders. It could easily happen.

Good player, but one of those players you wouldn't splash out on unless you've got the money to spend. He cost you more than Atsuto Uchida cost me, and i'd rate them pretty equally.

RVP + Rooney upfront, I reckon Berbatov is leaving, giving us Chicharito and Welbeck as further options. We have great squad depth in attack. If Fletcher/Anderson are not fit for the new season, then we should sign a CM. Otherwise it's job done.
