Padraig
He's put his foot in it again by saying that they should have strippers lining the fairways at the Reno-Tahoe. http://www.irishgolfdesk.com/news-files/2012/8/2/padraig-maybe-we-should-have-a-few-dancing-girls-down-the-si.html
I don't think anyone takes notice of his ramblings any more, but does he still have something to offer as a competitive golfer?

He seems to have been competing well recently, as for his comments a bit ridicukous.

Renoe is a toilet so it would certainly improve the place.

Re: Padraig
All good stuff, good for him for having a little bit of fun.
So many of the golfers are so po-faced when giving their monosyllabic interviews - St.Padraig must be a sponsor's dream.
I watched him earlier this year and he was extremely popular with the crowds, and very good at acknowledging them.
s_r: Reno may be a toilet but nothing bog-like about Lake Tahoe, or the neighbouring mountains for that matter. Lake is lovely, mountain views breathtaking.

Re: Padraig
Paudie is arguably the most popular Irish golfer, they love him in the US a long way away from the days when they called him Pa-Drag.
I remember hearing a story that a signed jersey from New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (3 time Super Bowl winner) and a signed Shirt and cap from Pádraig were up for auction for a charity. Harrington's went for more!

Great comment from Paddy. And he is right. Too many tournaments are same-same.

They should have him in an episode of Reno 911 as himself, he'd be the funniest character.

Maybe - if the auction was in in Ireland. If it was in the USA, there's no chance that story is right.

Re: Padraig
I see no foot in mouth in that article at all. I see an open and refreshingly light-hearted interview with someone who wants to be interviewed rather than quote a pre-prepared and safe set of answers.
I liked his "Wheel barrows" of cash comments - very tongue in cheek and funny.
