The crowd are getting far too rowdy. Almost as bad as the RG crowds.

Fed is having all the chances, yet not taking them you always fear the worst when that starts happening. Thanks Woestijnrog, did expect it to be higher I must say

Roger's return is really letting down in this match and his net play has been dreadful. This is going to be cannon fodder for those that say Roger is a poor net player

Re: Olympic Day 7 Thread
It's been a great match. Normally these long matches on grass are completely serve dominated with very short points. This hasn't been the case today. Lots of mid-length rallies.
I agree Fed's return has been woeful and his volleying has been below par, but then the windy conditions may have something to do with that and the fact that DP hits with so much pace makes it tough to handle the ball at the net.

I felt the ground shake up here when Del Potro lurched for that ball.

What a high quality match - you've got to take your hat off to both players.
Kemet - is it really fair to criticize Fed's returning given the quality of the del boy serve?

I think Fed has thrown in some really good returns, but DelPo has backed it up so well

Roger has no one blame but himself if he loses this match. He finally breaks at 9-9 and then a few shanks later is broken at love.
I am really furious.

I was thinking that but Murray and Djokovic could knock lumps out of each other too.

Hmm maybe.emancipator wrote:If this goes on much longer both will be cooked for the final.
The AO semi between Nadal and Fed this year was a bit longer. Also Djoko Fed in FO last year was 4 hours I think.
But remember Murray and Djoko play later and that might be longer.

Fed leaves the court a lot more these days, I wonder what he's up to? Is it to just clear his head? Or get to his opponent? I dont know

I don't want to quibble, but getting broken at 10-9 is a bit too much for me, especially when Del Potro has been serving so well.
