Basically I agree but the one blot is dropping his serve to 0 when serving for the match.

2 Things to note about Del Potro:
1) He looks a bit like Noel Gallagher.
2) If he grew a beard his face would be 99% hair.

Fed's just having a quick look at 606v2 to make sure Delpo has no chance of winning this.

The AO semi between Nadal and Fed this year was a bit longer. Also Djoko Fed in FO last year was 4 hours I think.
But remember Murray and Djoko play later and that might be longer.
I think best of three matches are more intense and therefore more tiring than BO5 (when the same number of sets and/or time is played). There's no opportunity to take it easy even for a few games.

I agree - Fed has been one slip from going out for more than 3hrs now and you don't get that in a Bo5 very often.
Goodness he's making a lot of mistakes. Azarenka and Williams must be furious.
Serena's got a doubles match today too.

Well if it was a case of winning 10 games per set they're now up to 5 full sets...

Personally I think the grass is quicker at Wimby than 2011...alot of TBs and long sets this year for both events.

Fed is being so passive on the break points, just waiting for an error.

Del Po has played majority of this set like the favourite. Federers slowness has made this match more entertaining.

great to be in this situation, atleast if your favourite gets beat then its lost to a guy who plays entertaining, gentlemanlike tennis, not pulling stunts like shoulder barging.

Del Potro is simply not going to lose this. He has been extremely good on the serve. Roger's chance disappeared when he served for the match at 10-9. It would have been better if he served first to begin the fifth so that he wouldn't have to serve out the match

Federer is holding far more comfortably than Del Potro though.

If Ferrer/Lopez v Llodra/Tsonga finishes before Murray gets on in the singles does he play doubles first?

Bloody hell!! I finished work early so I could catch most of the Murray match, can't believe this is still on!!
How has this happened? Delpo playing unbelievable? Federer bit below his best? Both?

I think one of them should tank if it gets 22-22.
Beyond that they'd have no chance in the final anyway.
It's not worth it for one match.
Their season could be destroyed by this if it goes towards epic proportions.

And remember, this has not been an Isner-Manut affair. There have been regular taxing rallies.

Does Federer have a realistic chance of a gold medal now?
