Man Utd thread
First topic message reminder :
There are a few Utd fans like myself on the board but like the LFC one set up, everyone are welcome to discuss Utd's results and news etc..
Playing Barca tomorrow night, only a pre-season game but would like to see Kagwa given a run out tomorrow night see what he's got against the best.

This the same Tiote that got away with an absolute leg-breaker of a tackle on Cleverly that he should have been red-carded for?

RVP and Tiote should have been off. 3-0 and a one sided game, means the geordies can't complain too much.

I can see Wanyama going to Arsenal. He seems like a natural replacement for song. Best midfielder in Scotland by a mile.

I'd say Kayal when fit is the best Midfielder at Parkhead. Wanyama has serious potential. I thought he would suit Arsenal down to the ground. Supposedly City are still interested as well.

not to sure why newcastle are going so crazy about the ref, tiote was booked after about his fourth foul and should already have gone. seems no matter what webb does now he's "helping" united because of the stigma over a few descions.
i dont mean offense but im abit dubious about signing players from scotland, the standard of the league has dropped alot. you only have to look at the players who struggle to make it in the championship (boyd who's highest ever scorer being one of them). i'll admit ive havnt seen much of wanyama but would be a hell of a step up to play for united.

He ruined the game for both sides.
We should've had a penalty and a goal. The penalty was in Webb's sights, so why he never gave it is beyond me. The assistant decided not to give the goal which is nothign to do with Webb.
It's just typical of him that in a big game he tries to make it about him. Like that numpty, Clattenberg.

Haven't seen any replay that suggested the ball was over the line so, no, you shouldn't have 'had a goal'.
And given that all that happened after Tiote's blatant red card tackle we have no idea how the game would have panned out with Newcastle were playing with 10 men and without their key midfield dynamo.

You should watch a better replay then as it was clearly over the line.
Didn't see a red card challenge, though had RVP walked for his blatant elbow to the face it may have been different. And Tiote was gash on Sunday, so probably wouldn't of mattered.

Beer...............I think you had to much before watching the game
No replay showed it clearly being over and Newcastle should have had 10 men a long time before RVP should have gone.
Besides that, it was men against boys. 0-3 flattered Newcastle.

I saw all the in game replays, ball definitely not all the way over the line.
And Tiote's challenge was horrific, a miracle Clev's leg wasn't broken.

Ah, biased Man Utd fans.
Funny how Webb saw the incident and decided it wasn't worthy of a red card? And i saw plenty of replays that showed the ball crossed the line. Then again, i'm sure if it had happened to you you wouldn't complain about it at all.
I'll leave you to your prawn sandwiches.

I'm the perfect judge, completely impartial. Got a link to the replay that showed it over the line?

Re: Man Utd thread
not to join in on the bandwagon, but im yet to see a clip of the whole ball being over the line, the majority yes but havnt seen anything where the whole ball was, which in the rules it needs to be for a goal. given that ive seen the replay countless times im not sure, how the lines man is suppose to be 100% sure it crossed the line to give a goal then the right descion was made. anything else would have been quess work

Hey?
Beer said a replay showed the ball was clearly over the line and that RVP should have gone but thought Tiote's missed red was irrelevant. I think beer is the only one with one eyed views.
have you got the link to this imaginary replay?

Pat Nevin, at Stamford Bridge for BBC Radio 5 live
READ FROM BOTTOM UP
"Chelsea needed that. They have been under the cosh for most of the half but they have had a good 10 minutes or so. You have to score when you're up, and that is what they have done. As for Juan Mata? Brilliant."
GOAL- Chelsea 1-2 Manchester United - Mata (44 mins)
Wayne Rooney will have to brace himself for the hottest setting on the Fergie half-time hairdryer after he clatters needlessly into Eden Hazard on the edge of the box. It is a yellow card for the striker and up steps Juan Mata to stroke home a curling free-kick to heap punishment on punishment.
Pat Nevin, at Stamford Bridge for BBC Radio 5 live
"De Gea is having an absolute blinder this afternoon! He showed really strong wrists to save from Torres there."

How the fook do yous cheating little noobs get so many points handed to every season by horrible, cheating refs. I know David Gill is the vice chairman of the fa and some people might find that a bit fishy but the levels of corruption are off the scale now. Thats Liverpool and Chelsea that have been robbed blind in their own grounds this season against United. Shameful.

Yes clattenburg did miss the Torres red early on and the luiz handball but we've only ourselves to blame for letting Chelsea back into it.

IMO Clattenburg made one bad error and that was giving Torres a second yellow, although even then, you can see why, as Torres went down a little easy.

Re: Man Utd thread
From Clattenburg's view it does look like Evans has missed him and he's gone down very easily. That's the crucial point in all this, what can the ref see in real time. If he's been told to stamp down on diving and he see's what he see's I can't blame him. There was contact, the slightest which wouldn't have made Torres fall like he did, but that's only due to super slo-mo and different camera angles which he doesn't have access to.

Im not just singling out the players, I am calling the entire club cheats. Since David Gill became the vice chairman of the fa United have been on the right end of some scandalous decisions. I believe that if David Gill was not the fa vice chairman and the fa could investigate United for match fixing then we would see titles being taken off them like they did in Italy.

Yawwwwwwwwwwn
What about Chelsea getting the United match called off a no notice with no valid reasons when they just happened to be in a terrible run of form and had lost two on the bounce (or something like that) about 3 years ago? That's more suspicious than any of your tripe.
And how about Citeh cheating the FFP rules? Happy to get away with that aren't you??

Do you reckon CFC might get points docked or something. Surely trying to ruin a referees career - threatening to break his legs (by Admin and Players) wasting police time etc etc warrants more than a slap on the wrist

Have to see the results first, I doubt they'll get into serious trouble as all racial cases need looked at (hence dropping the mata thing is a clever move).

Yeah i've seen the vid. Crushed the poor Bar Steward against the fence and he arched over the fence in visible pain before either managing to wriggle over or being thrown over onto the side of the pitch.
