The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage XXV
First topic message reminder :
Star Player bids will commence Wednesday (15th), and run to Friday (17th) at midnight, when bidding is closed. Who got who will be posted on Saturday all being well - and assuming it can't be done earlier. If you miss out initially, there will be a second round bidding process and you may make another bid on a player. All bids will be sealed and PM'd to Hero and sodhat. It should be made clear that you cannot make a big bid on a Star Player, and then not have the cash all at once. All money must be paid immediately, or you miss out. We aren't doing IOU's on it, and that applies to everyone.
To qualify for the second round you must have submitted a first round bid - you can't just wait and see what's left. If there are exceptional circumstances as to why you missed the deadline you may appeal to the runners, but these circumstances absolutely do not include "I was playing Ultimate Team for 4 days with the curtains closed."

Nah ketamine is for the post-friendly party.
Villa
Benzema/Higuain (same player, Benzema better in a "Rooney" role though)
Tevez
Ibihimovic
Podolski
Giroud
Suarez (he's not an out-and-out striker)
Heskey
Hulk
I cannot rate Eto'o as I haven't seen him in years,

Authors can write all they want but until he's on the pitch scoring he won't be rated (I do rate him, but I'll need to see him back so I know how much to rate him). It's why I'm waiting to see RVP and Rooney in action before I go mental.

He won't flop ffs. One thing that Chamakh had against him as he wasn't going to get in the first 11. With RVP gone, Giroud is their main striker

Twist, your two strikers; Giroud & Podolski
My two strikers; Higuain & Villa
Which out of those four are x2 strikers?
Clue: It ain't yours.

The biggest signing of the summer to flop will be RVP.
He's going to be a letdown to all the deluded fans who think he'll have another 30 goal season.

From the results in your old league Hero Higuain only scored more x2 or more once and that was against Tooze

RVP won't have another season like last year, where he scored nearly 40 goals I think. But I reckon he will score between 20-25 goals for Utd, which will be very helpful for them

He got me 9 in 6 games, think most strikers would be chuffed with a 1.5 goal per game ratio.

Oh come now, one bad tournament doesn't make him a bad player. Rooney has had three bad tournaments - if he became available tomorrow would people be saying, "oh well, he had a bad Euro 2012, WC 2010, WC2006, so he must be poo."
No, it's silly. They'd be fighting each other off to sign him.

First part of last season yes, him and Aguero were beastly, but then squad rotation clearly had an affect.

Dzeko needs constant football, you are right. He got it at Wolfsburg but will not get it at Man City. He needs a move.
