FIFA 13. - Page 2 Empty FIFA 13.

Post by hampo17 Wed 15 Aug 2012, 8:44 am

First topic message reminder :

Just over a month away until release and I have to say I'm starting to get excited. Personally I'll just be purchasing the standard edition however if you play alot of Be A Pro or UT the ultimate edition doesn't look to bad.

Anyone else looking forward to this release?

I've played the demo. I liked the new player form updates that they are doing. Diaby went from a 76 to an 80 rating after one good match lol.

6pm tonight I'll be able to delve in to the full game using the EA Season Ticket. Costs £20, however if you also play Tiger Woods, Madden and NHL you get early access to those as well.

Comes in quite handy, definately helps to see if the full game is worth purchasing.

Brilliant, personally I think it feels alot smoother than last years. Started the BAP mode with Liverpool, played the preseason and was then told I'd be leaving on loan to get experience. The difference between Liverpool and Barnet is very visable instead of last years where every team played like Barcelona.

Was gonna suggest the same thing. And usually they do a 'Spend XXX and get Fifa 13 for £24' or something similar.

I'm paying £48 for the Ultimate Edition from Game, they have the normal version at £42. I have no choice though, seeing as I was bought a £50 gift card last month for my birthday for this game.

Despite previous comments saying I wont be nerdy enough, I will be going to the midnight opening tonight as I am too busy to go any other time tomorrow or Saturday! At least i'll be at home Friday night to play it though.

I'm a PES guy, let me correct that, WAS a PES guy and now I'm firmly on the FIFA bandwagon. It's the best sports game I've played. I'm doing a player career mode with Leicester, currently on loan at Walsall.

I got it from Game but had £7.50 to spend on my rewards card so got it for £35.49

It plays so much smoother than the demo did. Started my career at Liverpool as a striker but have gone on loan to Northampton.

I started at Utd but have gone out on loan to Fleetwood for the year, which was a bit gutting after my one friendly for Utd saw me get a cracking goal and an assist.
Though trying to usurp Rooney, RVP, Hernandez and Welbeck may be beyond my skills as a raw 18 year old!

I started mine at United, cam. Played the full preseason grabbing a goal and two assists but still sent on loan to Portsmouth

Annoyingly the realistic atmospheres now mean I have to play every game listening to that annoying cowbell in the crowd

Started as manager of Crawley Town, and depending on how well I do i'll apparently get some International manager's job offers. Plus there's the ability to apply for any vacant jobs going mid-season, which is a nice touch.

Same here mate. Didn't see the point of being a striker with RVP, Rooney, Hernandez and Welback already there. I want to play with those players, not replace them

Not sure about Fifa 13, but I always found it next to impossible to get a good rating as any position other than striker and that was by scoring/assisting goals.

Started as Bristol City manager, 2 signings so far Sterling on loan and McCann from Burnley. Doing alright so far, won my pre season games and 2 wins from 2 in the league snatching a win at Brighton.

Tempted to start a BAP with City though tempted to see if i get sent out on loan or kept there. will probably start at CM or CAM.

I started a Be a Pro game with Crawley, the club accepted offers from Leicester, Burnley, Middlesbrough, Hoffenheim and Atalanta before the August 31st deadline, but I stayed loyal (ie waiting for a Premier League side)

anyone else frustrated with what they've done to ultimate team this year? My team is 2 stars and when i search for an opponent online EA have removed the ability to look at your opponents stats and ratings before deciding if your playing a team full of gold players. I always have to play against 4-5 star teams with my 2 star team.

I'm rather narked off at present with a red card glitch, Higuain has been out now for 8 games due to receiving a red card and it just states constantly he has 1 game left.
Doesn't even allow me to trade him, I can quick sell him for 55 coins and that's it.

He still needs to be a part of the 23 man squad for the ban to take place. Have you tried that?

As in, Starting 11, 7 subs, 5 squad players. He'd be in the squad players.

It'll be because he moved after the English transfer window shut and therefore missed the squad updates that ea do
