Right then, lets work something out for the pair

Arteta and x for Gerrard and Allen, with x being another cm preferably. Sterling is an odd one as he could have a blinder of a season and as an impact player he offers a lot (plus he's under 21 for the cup!)

Of those two I'd prefer to add Sterling and you add cash, can we hold on the deal until after the results this week? That should also give me time to sell some of my midfielders to accomodate Allen and Gerrard.

As cash isn't really of importance I'd say that if I am manage to shift a central midfielder or too then yes it would be.

It depends on if I can shift Strootman, Anita or Carrick (or two of them) then I would probably deal on that mate

In fairness to Marin, the main reason he isn't playing is he has a hamstring injury. He is expected back for the next game I think.

No deal, Diaby's form put him above M'Vila in my eyes, plus I already have Toulalan and Lucas (despite his injury) as DM's.

Plus Ben Arfa got a goal vote this week, not gonna lose him cheaply.

If i'd be letting Diaby and Ben Arfa go, i'd want M'Vila and a replacement winger/AM to cover Ben Arfa.

Normally i'd say M'Vila = Diaby, but M'Vila is purely a DM and Diaby is much more versatile and better for my side, even if Diaby < M'Vila in terms of value.

Toulalan and Lucas were injured this week, the voters voted kindly when I played Diaby and Schweinsteiger.

DM: 1st choice Toulalan, 2nd choice Lucas
Box to box: 1st choice Schweinsteiger, 2nd choice Diaby

No reason to trade Diaby for M'Vila (with something else added my side) when it would leave me light on box to box players. Unless we did;

Diaby + Lucas
=
M'Vila + x

With x being either a box to box midfielder, or a sum of cash to go towards signing a box to box midfielder, selling Diaby isn't to my benefit.

Something like £5m

Diaby + Lucas = M'Vila + £5m

You'd get Diaby in your Arsenal themed midfield and Lucas as a backup DM when Tiote is injured. M'Vila is very one dimensional so I wouldn't want to sign him while I already have Toulalan and Lucas, and i'm not selling Toulalan.

It would have to be Lucas as M'Vila would be replacing him at DM. Diaby is box to box.

You'd be swapping a DM and cash for a DM and a box to box CM. Both who play in the Prem, while M'Vila stayed at Rennes which will (if it hasn't already) affected his rating.

Lucas isn't all of a sudden worthless, he's a good DM.

Cahill isn't going anywhere unless I get a suitable cb in exchange of which you have none that interest me.

Given he's a cm I'd be wanting to use a cm in the deal, and as I said either Biglia or Strootman preferably. Capoue could be used but I'd want Lucas and something for him.

Best offer would be Lucas for cash I guess unless you want to negotiate with one of the above players.

Baines + Diaby + Sterling = Buttner + Yaya Toure + Cazorla

Baines I like as a player but I already have Cole so he'd be a spare wheel, Diaby is decent but Toure is obviously the topdog attm and whilst Sterling looks a fantastic prospect he's just in the league of Cazorla yet.
Basically the only way you'd be getting Cazolra off me is if Hazard came the other way and I know you're not willing to entertain such a deal.
