Important End of Season information -- please read

STAR PLAYER BIDS ARE OPEN

Star Player bids will commence Wednesday (15th), and run to Friday (17th) at midnight, when bidding is closed. Who got who will be posted on Saturday all being well - and assuming it can't be done earlier. If you miss out initially, there will be a second round bidding process and you may make another bid on a player. All bids will be sealed and PM'd to Hero and sodhat. It should be made clear that you cannot make a big bid on a Star Player, and then not have the cash all at once. All money must be paid immediately, or you miss out. We aren't doing IOU's on it, and that applies to everyone.

To qualify for the second round you must have submitted a first round bid - you can't just wait and see what's left. If there are exceptional circumstances as to why you missed the deadline you may appeal to the runners, but these circumstances absolutely do not include "I was playing Ultimate Team for 4 days with the curtains closed."

I think Southampton would pay whatever he wanted.

Its like Tevez going to West Ham, Ramirez could easily help keep Southampton up, get used to the Premier League in the process and move on to a bigger club.

I don't think he'd sign for Saints to be fair. I may be wrong but I get the feeling he knows he can do better. And even if he did, he gets Prem exposure, so you don't lose too much!

The Premiership exposure of hardly ever getting ball due to the rest of your team getting tanked down the other end for most of the game.

Saints look poor this year. I thought that all last year too, but you never know with promoted sides, momentum means a lot.

Momentum does mean a lot, but in Davis they have a shocking keeper. Ramirez would be an amazing signing for them, but in an area that is already like one of there strongest points. Would be better spent improving the defence and GK IMO

You find me another player that can pirouette into a back heel and slide the ball past the keeper and I will agree with you. It's immaterial that it was an own goal.

He did used to play for the scum about like 10 years ago.

But I genuinely think he is pants. He has never been Premier League standard, and it isn't going to suddenly change now he is 36/37.
