Apparently Johan Blake thinks hes good enough to play T20 in the BBL.
Interesting that he claims to prefer cricket to sprinting, Viv Richards says he put it behind football (he played for Antigua)l, and reggae.

Both Bolt and Blake have come out saying they think they're good cricketers. I'm sure they can play but I'd be very impressed if they were genuinely pro standard.
However, with the model on which the Big Bash is based they would be a good asset to a team, in that if they played they would draw in big viewing figures from curious watchers.

Bolt thinks he could play for Man U does he not?
I think their self belief is probably way above their ability when it comes to other sports. Yohan Blake is probably good enough to play for the Windies though, then again so is nearly anyone.

Don't forget big Darren is not in the team for his batting or bowling, its his contribution to team morale. Yes, they still lose nearly every game, but the manner in which they do it is so much more positive!

These days the runs and wickets are of marginal importance in cricket, mutual love and admiration, ability to speak well and find positives where none exists are of prime value.
Blake it seems, has a decent reputation as a club bowler in Jamaica, and he's a useful lower order hitter as well. With his selfbelief and stuff, might be a serious threat to Darren Sammy if he really wants to come in to cricket.

Bolt did bowl Chris Gayle in a charity match a couple of years back. Gayle looked pretty annoyed.
